negncic Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Mag 50. Maybe not under the radar but often overlooked.
Phillys Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Mag 50. Maybe not under the radar but often overlooked. I simply love those and they do seem under the radar or disliked because it is fairly easy to find older stock
Zaphod42 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Pretty much anything from the Le Hoyo series RG PC Sancho Beli and Non Plus
CanuckSARTech Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 A true "under the radar"? Here? With you guys and that daily smoke thread? It would truly have to rolled on a virgin's thigh somewhere in the Cuban jungle (if there is one). Well, Art's working on this for us for our next group trip to Havana. However, all the rollers we know are FAR from virgins, and while jungle is easy enough to find in Cuba, getting Art to talk his way with butchered Spanglish into using a virgin's thigh is quite another thing altogether.
Jnaube Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Not under the radar but the Upmann Half Coronas is a hard deal to beat for me in the price and taste department.
LGC Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I'm not tellin'. I will answer for you.... Vegueros!!!
spirit Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 JL2's for me, never had a poor one but been thru a box of 08's recently. My next box is a late '11 PSP which I'd like to be able to leave until next summer before cracking...
PigFish Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 ... like the Partagas Tres Petit Coronas, or the Bolivar Demi Tasse? Below the radar = discontinued! This thread was pertinent 10 years ago! Sorry mate!! -the Pig
khomeinist Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Actually no Ray. Many of us post cigars like ERDM DT, RGPC, Le Hoyo des Dieux, etc because we don't want to see these discontinued as well. Some of us that still buy Cigars didn't hoard everything in sight a decade ago....

Could have said QdO coronas or something like that... but why ruin my reputation as a curmudgeon just for the sake of this thread!!! -LOL Oh, and I am glad you used the word hoard, you know how I don't like to be referred to as a collector. Imagine how it would have sounded, ".. still buy cigars didn't collect everything in sight a decade ago..." I am glad you have been paying attention!! -LOL Cheers, R
mm12 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Vegas Robaina Familiares Romeo and Julita Exhibicion no. 3 Sancho Panza Non Plus Trinidad Coloniales
Sutton Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 It's funny , I just picked up QDO coronas and PL Pantellas from a local shop here. Smoking the smoke out of them.
Guybrush Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Have been enjoying the hell out of recent Upmann Magnum 46. Full bodied, raw, potential a plenty. These remind me very much of the Partagas 898 V in terms of body/heft. I am now smoking a Magnum 46 from AUB JUL 12. This one is more on the mild side.
karmaz00 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 SCDLH El Principe and RG PC. Mag 46 under the radar? Really? agree with those two
Surucipe Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted the Epi 2 earlier on but for me the RA Superiores is also an excellent cigar that's well priced and somehow doesn't seem to attract too much attention.
thechenman Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 SLR Churchill...fantastic cigar...nobody ever seems to talk about these...ever.
rcarlson Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 HDM Epicure Especials. The Mag 46 or 50 are mighty good for unrecognized sticks too though.
obviousadams Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Love seeing this thread. Too new to have an opinion, but lots of stuff I have never looked into. Thanks.
kuma Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 99.9 percent of the time Cubans Just tried my first Fuente Fuente Opus X Belicoso XXX (Power Ranger) 4 5/8x49 and I must say this is a very good smoke for a non-Cuban. Get them if you can.
MnMWC Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 HDM Epicure Especials. Starting to really like these... very "below the radar" and surprising every time I have one.
