dangolf18 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Seems like there is a petit robusto for a lot of the marcas, but sadly none for Cohiba (there was even a PR for RA with a Portugal RE). Anyway, just thought I'd say that a PR for Cohiba would be great, but perhaps even greater would be a Cohiba Edmundo.
Rushman Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Snip 15mm or so off a Siglo vi --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.630181,-87.069875
Trent0341 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Technically there is a Cohiba PR since they released one in the new seleccion petit robustos... Not sure if they are out yet though. Edited to add: Looks like this is a limited release of 5000 10 count boxes with 2 each of 5 marcas. It is for the travel/duty free segment although I'm sure we'll see them elsewhere.
LGC Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 When you light up a robusto or VI, just snip an extra inch or so off the head!
Smallclub Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 The BHK 52 and the Magicos are very close to the petit robusto size. The Genios is 5mm longer than a Edmundo, with the same RG.
maverickdrinker Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 There are enough Cohibas already. We don't need any more... BLASPHEMY!!!!! LOL
DeadmansPoint Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 BLASPHEMY!!!!! LOL Maybe they just haven't come up with any ideas for how to charge $40 for a PR yet...
Charltonc Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I love the hdm petit robusto, but I don't think a Cohiba petit robusto is necessary.
Savoy Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Fairly certain the next limited is a Cohiba PR
Bartolomeo Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 What is the advantage of a PR over a Robusto? Is it a time issue? Bart
perfectform Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 We don't need any more "less smoke, more money" habanos.
polarbear Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 We don't need any more "less smoke, more money" habanos. Chuch! A RP Monte Robusto or Cohiba DC would be nice though
PigFish Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 There are enough Cohibas already. We don't need any more... Yeah mate. Just what we need is another fat Cohiba... I have an idea, lets cancel the Lanceros and create a new fat, limited edition Cohiba. Mabe one that you have to pull the bands off as it burns, 5 or 6 bands, or maybe it will have 'consumable bands.' AND, don't forget the $40.00 price tag and the shiny box. I mean who would want a cigar that does not come in a shiny box??? -the Pig

nikesupremedunk Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Forget petit anything...what cuba needs is more 7x70 size cigars like this one: Honestly I don't even know what brand it was...just snapped a pic since it was the most ridiculous thing I've seen.

Seriously man... I think we have to put a stop to exageration. Personnaly, I think Cuba needs to bring back some slimmer cigars. Man I love my Lanceros. Big is nice but it's not alwys the best
nikesupremedunk Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I was just pointing out the whole cigar world seems to want bigger and bigger. Even the NC"s are getting bigger as I'm starting to see more 65-70 RG's. I also enjoy 38-46 with an occasion of 50-54. I just hope cuba doesn't ax all the slimmer cigars as time goes on.
SMQQKIN Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 It is an Asylum 7 x 70 Nicaraguan Puros = Not for Me. However, different smokes for different folks.
Phillys Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 That is just ridiculous, I mean talk about an awkward size, and I thought that 54 RG cigars where a little bit too big.

Are you meant to smoke that or beat a seal to death with it?
