I have to say this is not trying to show one up man ship but I had a rather eventful Sunday !

Albeit I now feel as though I am some what gluttonous and should learn to control myself HA !

My day has included the wonderful experience of Mumm Champange and Chivas 18 Y.O, Angus Scotch Fillet with Organic Double Cream Brie melted on top for lunch whilst lounging on a Chesterfield couch in the moderate Melbourne weather. During this somewhat fine dining extravaganza I have enjoyed the following accompaniments -

8.30 am Vegas Robaina Famosos

9.40 am Cohiba Esplendidos

12.10 pm Por Larranaga Encantos RE Asia Pacifico 2011

2.30 pm Diplomaticos Diplomaticos No. 1

4.45 pm Partagas 8-9-8 Barinzados

6.20 pm Hoyo de Monterrey Short Piramide EL 2011

This brings me to my topic/ question ... Am I A Gluton ?

Oh... I am about to light up a Bolivar Gold Medal accompanied by Hennessy Paradis and a selection of organic 85% dark chocolate for dessert, no doubt followed very closely by bed.

I hope and all BOTL, SOTL and FOH have had similar days and wish we could all live like this every day.

Glutton? Probably. Who cares? Sounds like a good day. I smoke more slowly and rarely exceed 3-4 cigars in a day but to each their own. It is only tobacco at the end of the day. Do what you do playa.

Is that all. You really have a long way to go before you catch up to the rest of us. Keep up the good work, sweet dreams . This is how GLUTTON is spelt.

6 in a day is probably gluttony, yea. Plus I'd say it's bad for you. But as long as you don't do that too often. 2-3 a day is probably about it, I'd say. I'd love to be able to smoke more than that, but it's probably a blessing that I can't, lol.

Not glutinous, but are you addicted to nicotine? I accept it is a slightly provocative question that is most usually posed to cigarette smokers, but relevant to anyone who smokes quantities of cigars on a daily basis. Each to their own, and you might think so what if I am? No problem, for me cigars are a treat, and I too would still have multiple cigar days albeit seldom.

Nothing wrong with that, sounds like a good day in my book. What'd you think of the Encantos?

I found it to be very smooth with a lot flavour. I will be purchasing more for the humi :D

How far do you smoke them? If you toss them after 2/3's that can be understandable. The most I had in 1 day was 3, nubbed them all and didn't have enough time or palate left to have any more. If this is a once in a blue moon splurge, pretty harmless, but if it's a weekly thing even, I would say cut down.

All I can say is I want to live more like you. If that means being a glutton...sign me up. Hahaha...

Most I've done in a day was 5 at the Perth Herf this year, and I was struggling after that (could have been the wine though ahah).

could you still taste the last ones? that's all i'd care about.

and that's my problem with big cigar days.

i recently did 3 large-ish cigars over an evening, smoking more or less continuously, but planned a careful crescendo in body that ended in a nicaraguan powerhouse. whisky cleansed the palate and i was ready for a fourth when a storm interrupted proceedings. probably a blessing in disguise as i didn't have anything strong enough for my fatigued palate and it would have been a disappointing cigar...

p.s.i once met a guy in madrid who did business in cuba and smoked 7 larger cigars a day. i imagine he's died of some cancer now but who knows?
