not sure. I usually smoke once a week. Couple weeks ago I smoked every day of the week. Two days later I developed a hard pimple like bump on my neck. I've had these before and I was told they were caused by smoking. It is slowly going away and I don't want to flare it back up.

Sounds awesome- cool post...

In the morning I will probably have a Reyes or a BPC to get things going.

At work we will be serving about 250 people with:

Grilled Angus burgers (awesome blend of chuck and brisket) with Gruyere and roasted shiitake mushrooms

Grilled 'Best's' hot dogs

Grilled marinated chicken legs with Chipotle barbeque sauce

Homemade red-skinned potato salad with roasted garlic, fresh rosemary, fresh parsley

Homemade coleslaw- fresh, fresh

Ice cream sundaes with fresh, local peaches, strawberries, blueberries, strawberry and vanilla ice cream with homemade shortbread

Coke, Diet Coke, and Fuji water.

Lots of cigars when I am finished- along with a 2-week vacation :)

Well I don't know about any grilling going on. Going to be working on my back office working on the drywall and spray texture getting ready to paint. Pretty sure I'll find some time to smoke probably going to try my Cohiba 1966.

Not sure yet, but it will be something EPIC - I just closed the biggest contract of my career so I have something to celebrate. MGR or CGR probably. Or both :D

:perfect10: Congrats Claus!!! I vote you smoke both . . . AND post pictures so we can live vicariously thru you :)

I have a Bolivar Inmensas from '98 that I'm pretty sure isn't plugged. Since it's going to be less than 105 here I may even get to enjoy it without passing out :)

By far the biggest BBQ weekend in the States is upon us! What’s on your Grilling, Smoking and drinking agenda for the next few days?

I have 4 racks of Baby Back Ribs rubbed up and marinating as we speak, also currently dry boxing a few BHK 54, Party 898 V, LGC Imensios, R & J Cazzy and some BBC's... Looking forward to a great 5 day weekend with friends , family and most of all my new son. I will post some pics as the week progresses, feel free to do the same..

I am expecting a stellar entry from David (brazoseagle) don’t let me down man..

I will start off my night at work with an 09 Bolivar Royal Corona. Everybody in the building is off for the 4th so there will only be three of us. Perhaps we will take some chairs onto the roof to smoke.

Remember to take lots of pictures and everyone be safe!

I will be grilling some lobster and venison steaks. As for the smokes, whatever sounds good at the time which will most likely be a partagas short or a bpc. My choices are fairly limited right now.

All of this sounds spectacular! Enjoy your feasts and smokes, and congratulations Claus. I am sure your wife will celebrate at the local shoe store...

Louboutin Play Shoes!

LOL - those look scary :o

She pre-celebrated in Taiwan already - big time...

Unfortunately I have to spend much of the day in Cancun running errands with the wife, so I won't get my first smoke in until around 8pm, so who knows what will snag my fancy.

Wes meet Rush. Your friendly local tobacconist in Playa Del Carmen. :) I kid you not.

I've got 13 pounds of pork ribs that I'll be slow smoking tomorrow. Figure give 'em 9-10 hours or so and they'll be good to go. I've got a BHK 56 that I've been saving for 7 months - I knew it would be one of my Independence Day smokes. I'll be taking many photos tomorrow and will post the meatscape goodness for all to see. I don't expect that it will really be able to compete with whatever David's got planned... but I think it will do nicely nonetheless. :) I've also got a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue King George V that I'll be cracking open tomorrow. If for any reason that disappoints I'll go to one of my Balvenies... probably the 21 year Portwood. At some point the Louis Tres is coming out, too. I may just have a bit of that and smoke the BHK 56 while I'm cooking the ribs. Ribs are going on around 9am, friends are coming over around 5pm. That leaves me plenty of time to enjoy a smoke or two and have a few drinks while I'm enjoying life. The Stars and Stripes are will not be flown tomorrow; instead I'll be flying Old Glory. Spirit of '76, baby! It will be a great day!

Cheers,

~ Greg ~

I am seriously bummed. All my stash is overhumidified and is currently being dry boxed in a air tight tupperware. Already ruined about 8 sticks so I can't risk ruining any more.

Anyone in NYC want to hook me up with a smoke for tomorrow? :waving:
