Fat Bastard Competition ..the Final Reckoning

Recommended Posts

Well gentlemen contestants, over the next week (Last date Sunday 8th of July) you need to submit a photo of yourself on your digital scales ala your opening photo. You also need to submit one of yourself (clothed :lookaround: ).

Now, if you have fallen off the wagon or gracefully relinquished your title hopes then no need to send one through but tell us here how you have gone. We will run a similar comp for the secoond half of the year with some minor amendments.

Please post your experiences on this thread. :D

Sucks this was posted today! I just went to the doctor and saw my weight. I started last year June 24th at 381 pounds. Lost 57 pounds and gained back 20 LOL. I started back this Sunday June 24, 2012 and have already lost 6 pounds. I am currently at 341. My goal is 300 pounds and then 230. I have no idea what this thread is about but I figured I'd share a little of my story.

I'm out . Lost as much as 25lbs at one point. Then it was one more family member after another coming from Florida for Texas bbq. Congrats to those of you that had more will power. My wife has lost all hope as I couldn't even lose weight for cigars. Who would buy their meat from a skinny butcher anyways :thumbsdwn:

OK, Somebody has to go first. I must say that I am a little proud of myself maintaining this strict diet througout the winter and spring. Down to 71.5 kgs. A loss of a little more than 20 kgs. You must excuse my stern expression on the picture of myself, but it has been taken in a hurry :)I am also not very comfortable in my nowadays quite baggy clothes.

97.07 kg. Let's just say that the first half of this year did not unfold the way I had hoped or planned.

Congratulations on your great losses, guys! A lot to be proud of with your accomplishments!

Cheers!

Joe

Well done guys, 20kg is very impressive Henke.

My loss is 12kg. Have consistently done an hours exercise before work for the duration of the Fat Bastard Comp as well as some real mountain biking on weekends. Feel fit, feel great.

There was once a point where I could wear the jeans below without a belt.

After my fiancee arrived, it all went downhill from there for the month. I wasn't able to recover and get back on my diet after she left.

Ended at 105 kilos

Congratulations to all who were successful in this competition, whether you are the winner or not. I made no headway as work and family life have taken over. I ended at 225lbs (102.58kg). Ben

Good luck to all. Here goes my entry. My picture quality isn't that great, but I'm not as adept as a 15 year old girl at taking self portraits in the mirror. I stuck a before picture in there, pretty scary to think that was me.

I started at 146.8 and finished at 110.6 for a 24.7% loss, for the contest finish that is. I'm still continuing past this.

I'm happy because I reached my goal of 15%. And also because I feel much more better now when a bit thinner.

The final result is 89.1kg from 105.0kg, so it makes about 15.1428571428572%. :)

Thanks. I appreciate the comment. I'm a lot closer to where I want to be, but still have a ways to go. I'll get there though.

I'm really pleased with my results and the fact I was able to stick with my plan. I have just a couple more kg to go and I'm no longer a fat bastard. There have been some tremendous accomplishments by the guys in this forum. Congratulations to all. Prez, thank you very much for providing the motivation!

Just for giggles I weighed myself this morning and dropped another .5. Not sure if I can resubmit, if not, the first one stands.

There are some great pictures and losses posted so far. Congrats to all!

Wow! Phenomenal job with the weight loss but you have to lose the sandals. Lol.

I know, right!! I just wanted to make it easier on the CSI's to identify me.

It's from my golf sandals. I got burnt last year and now I'm permanently tanned like that. I catch hell for it all the time.

I'm out I guess (insert excuse here).

135.5kg as of this morning.

I'm hoping that when the weather improves as (our) summer arrives and my workload slackens a little, I will get myself out on the bike much more.

Congratulations to all those that gave it a try, especially those who were more motivated than I.

Well I made it down to 96kg which I'm happy with after starting at 110+

Not sure how to add photos using the mobile versio of the site but I'll upload when I can get to a laptop again soon....I don't think I'll be in the running for any prizes but happy to be less than I started.

Some serious weight loss, well done to us all and to Rob for giving us the encouragement needed!!
