El Presidente Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated you today ........you research some web software....you pay...you download...you run....you go to use ...".ERROR X5078654 Please Contact System Administrator" You waste two hours on the piece of crap software that was meant to save you time. You give up and send them a written enema. The one thing that put a smile on your face today ...just coming home and seeing my 12 year old Tom. Huge smile on his face. His sheer "goodness" just melts away any stress I may have.
chr0nic Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing... The one thing that aggravated you today ........arriving at settlement date on our new house... existing tenants having ample time to get their sh*t together including a long weekend AND extension of settlement by one week... their legal team getting 'lost' for 2pm settlement, then arriving at 4pm without the deeds to the property. The one thing that put a smile on your face today ...having a ball-breaking solicitor that gets settlement completed (like a baus), leading to me strolling through the doors to my new house PS) Glad to hear family won in the end, Prez. God love 'em!
Smacky Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated you today Seeing Prez post up a Cohiba sale thread when you bought a box of Behike's and a box of 1966 last week. The one thing that put a smile on your face today Literally 5 minutes ago getting notification that I passed the last subject of my Masters in Finance!
Ken Gargett Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 the '65 was a touched corked. but the 1959 was in spectacular form.

Munts Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated you today My boss making a bad decision. A decision which will clearly result in a terrible outcome and is clearly nowhere near best practice. However i have to support that decision publicly despite all of that because it is "our" stance on it. The one thing that put a smile on your face today Much like you, Pres, my 2 year old son always puts a smile on my face. Today we got him a new slide from the toy sales that are on at the moment. Of course he had more fun with the box than the slide. He was laughing so much just playing peak-a-boo with us from inside the box. You cant help but smile at that type of infectious laughter.
benjaminbbush Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated you today... ...having a client try to back me into a corner to do something that we both know is not appropriate then arguing when I tell him no. The one thing that put a smile on your face today... ...getting home and being greeted at the door by my one year old princessa who lights up when she sees me and immediately wants to be picked up. Then getting to watch her eat cheese raviolis and smearing most of it all over her face laughing the whole time. She really does light up my world.
lostsoulcamero Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Catching my 16 yr old son in a lie about a girl Taking my 69 Camaro out for a spin in the California sun with coro in hand

mk05 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Yesterday morning I was on the metro to head to work, and a black guy with very red eyes came up to me and said in front of people, "are you Asian?" I replied, "it would appear as such." He asks again, "I meant are you from Asia?" I replied again, "sources say yes." He says, "I was born racist. I don't like Asians..." started going on some tangent at which point I said, "cool story bro." He seemed mad, then this time turned to an Asian family to incite trolling. Started heckling the kids and parents were getting annoyed. That got to me a little bit. I turned and asked him what his end game was. He seemed a bit confused. I told him, "I don't foresee a continuation of events from here on out which ends up favorably for you given your inflammatory actions and apparent lack of tact." That got him all riled up and he started causing a scene, at which point I just pointed at him and said, "this is why you don't do drugs." Then he got escorted off the metro in handcuffs. He stared at me with those big bloodshot eyes. I think he hated me more, but you were asking what put a smile on MY face right?

Just got a picture and it is beautiful so will cut some (more) slack. The one thing that put a smile on your face today My daughter showed me her final report card for freshman year high school. 4.0 and dad is very proud.

You make me think of my best friend when she would get her two year old granddaughter ALL these expensive Christmas gifts, and she would say, "And she's spending more time playing with the wrapping paper!"
Drguano Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I was a bit aggravated by being flipped off by a young driver after I honked at her for coming to a dead stop on the interstate (speed limit 55 mph) in order to cut into a line of cars backed up for a mile on an exit ramp. A grim smile played across my finely chiseled features (artistic license) as I imagined a bus of deranged convicts (with all due respect to the heritage of my mates down under) rear ending her car.
CBL Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated you today Having to show around a friend of a friend in the rain....... The one thing that put a smile on your face today Having that person turn out to be one of my best friends from The Netherlands who came all the way to Taiwan to hang with me for my final days after graduating college! One of the biggest and coolest surprises a mutual friend of ours organized with him, I had absolutely NO idea he would come visit after 4 years in Taiwan. It was the first time in 2 years that I've seen him and one of the first things we did was go to the nearest cigar lounge and smoke an amazing QdO Superiores! One of the coolest days I've had in a long time..... despite the rain! Funny that Rob would start this topic today

Habanos2000 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Aggravation: not being able to hit a golf ball well on a consistent basis. Smile: spontaneously going with the family to a free outdoor neighborhood concert and enjoying the music more than I thought I would.

iGrizz Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated you today My boss who on a constant basis tries to find fault with me and others on my shift. The one thing that put a smile on your face today I got an interview with Northrop Grumman. I am very excited and hopeful that I get this job.
scradley Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 The one thing that aggravated me: Almost putting my bike down on the way into work because people can't pay attention while making left turns The one thing that put a smile on my face: Getting home and seeing my delivery from a LFTH a few weeks ago
jacktarnold Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 One thing that aggravated me today Leaving the golf course to take my younger brother to the emergency department 6 hours after he had already been discharged from the ED when they said nothing was wrong and then 3 more hours for them to tell my brother nothing was wrong except for the stomach flu again. All while he treats them like s***, on the top of it they are my friends since my wife and I both work there. One thing that put a smile on my face Telling my 23 year old brother to grow up and leaving him there with his roommate and going home and smoking a Mag 50 from 09 that came from the Czar about a week ago with the ED doc who is one of my best friends that my brother called an arrogant arse from the night before.
