cohibafix Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Hello. I came across this photo-essay documenting cigar production at El Laguito. Nothing new here, but some nice images. If you have a few minutes, why not check it out? Here's the url: http://wonderaday.com/blog/1864/ Enjoy the weekend.
Smallclub Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Unfortunately the comments/captions are inept and incompetent. [cigar's] "best before" date depends on where and how they are stored.
ramon_cojones Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I never tire of seeing where my cigars come from
nikesupremedunk Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 still amazed how these cigars are all hand rolled...they look even better than machine made ones.
tempbond Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Thanks for the link ! But now I know why some cigars don't always have a good draw... : " When the cigars are done their stretching is examined. If the test is passed it moves to the next stage - the color sorting." My cigar is as plugged as sink drain full of hair, but boy is it stretchy !!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Smallclub Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 But now I know why some cigars don't always have a good draw... : " When the cigars are done their stretching is examined. Like I wrote above, these comments are totally erroneous. — It's not the "stretch" that is controlled, but the draw. — And the next step is NOT the color sorting, because at this stage, the cigars don't wear their wrapper, how could they be colour sorted?
