Counterfeits are a copy of the original. So I guess the General Cigar Co has a few of these just anyway. 

Is it just me, or are these awful looking fakes?

The counterfeits probaly taste better than the "Real" Dominican Cohibas. They are gross.

Red Dot Cohibas, IMHO, are counterfeit Cohibas, so that means somebody counterfeited counterfeit Cohibas! :rotfl:

Qft

That's my take on it as well

There was (or still is) some guy who was notorious in prior years for obstinately using the Cohiba orange & black band-and white dots of course-on his Dominican cigars with the express purpose of giving them that aura. I can't remember his name...Rodriguez something or other. And his cigars which included "Cohiba"s and Montecristo "Habanos" sold very, very well. And they WEREN'T bad cigars to boot. I learned these things from the B&M owners who informed me that this "Rodriguez?" guy kept being warned, admonished, etc. and that he belligerently continued in his copy-cat cigar band antics. I'm wondering if this Dominican Cohiba cigar business has this same guy behind it.
