First box was PSD#4 from mid 2009, purchased early 2010. Just smoked the last one about a month ago. Keep the empty box for posterity.

It was a box of R&J Exhibicion no. 4 and they were... fakes! I still got them and smoke one from time to time just to remind me to be more careful with the online vendors!

Best,

Michel

My first box purchase was a box of 10 Monte 2s. then two weeks later it was a 10ct of PSD4s, then it was all downhill from there

My first box was a 10 count Montecristo Petit Edmundo. Many different boxes and a couple of years later I smoked the last one out of the 10 count and it was fantastic.

Why?

Because they were keep. I thought they were nothing special when I got them because I had smoked NC's and thought you can just smoke them right away. After letting them sit for a few months they turned into something special.

Monte 4 on my first trip to Cuba back in 2002. It was all downhill from there! :)

My first box was La Flor de Cano Preferidos, the first was a bit tight but they got better with age and the last was a true pleasure to smoke.

A box of Rafael González Panetelas Extra from a local B&M.

For my wife and I, we wanted to try something small together.

Bad choice, about half were so plugged we couldn't smoke them.

Luckily I didn't give up.

Have never tried Rafael González again.

My first box was Monty 4 NOV07 bought in March 2008. Five months later I bought another box of the same cigar, haven't had a box since but I'm hoping on picking up a HQ or PSP box one of these days!

I believe it was March 2011. Got a cab of BBFs (May 10) and a 10ct box of RyJ Short Churches (Mar 10). Just so happened that I had a son born in March of 2010, so the box of RyJs is going down for a LONG nap.

Up until then, just fivers, couple vacation pickups and some smokes from friends.

Rafael Gonzalez panetelas extra about 8 years ago.I guess thats why I have a soft spot for that marca.I hate that most of the sizes are discontinued, but am looking forward to the perlas when I can get my hands on them.

It was a box of H Upmann coronas major in the alumunium tubes. That was in 2003 or 2004.

I bought three boxes: Bolivar Royal Corona, Montecristo #2, and Partagas SD4. I also bought some Cohiba Esplendido and Partagas Lusitania petacas. London Heathrow Duty Free. Many years ago.

The BRC were the pick of that litter but I will never forget smoking a Lusitania in the smoking lounge with full-on jet lag.

My first box was Partags Corona Senior, did a split box with some of my friends. Didnt even have a humidor, finished it within a couple months. Subsequently was PSP2 and Monte 2 boxes of 10s, which i have a couple of sticks of each and they are smoking beautifully. Bought it off Kualu Lumpur duty free.

Actually I think I bought a crap-ton of singles from Czar as a first CC purchase by my first box was Monte #4's. I think I have a stupid thread somewhere where I'm asking about smoking them too young. (I know nothing about cigars).. :-) been a journey for sure

If I remember right, it was a box of Bolivar Inmensas.

First box I bought was R&J Clarines in Marrakesh duty-free on the way back from my honeymoon in 2001. Smoked the last ones with my Father-in-law about 4 years ago. Got them because they were cheap, about 20 euro for the box. The next boxes were R&J no.1 and 2 in Gibraltar in 2003, I got a single Upmann Monarch that day and haven't looked back..

First box purchase was actually 3 boxes. Partagas 898 and Shorts in 25 and Lusitanias in 10. I no longer am that disproportionally Partagas in my collection, but it is my favorite marca.
