Padron 1964 Maduro Lonsdale, was sitting in the humi for a few years, one of the few cigars that can compete with Habanos.

2001 H Upmann SW from 2001, unbelievable! Made me sweat a little...

I don't step out (cheat) on my cubans to often but i have to admit the arturo fuente rosado sungrown 54 i had a couple of weeks ago was well worth the guilty feeling ;)

a really smooth cigar, with plenty of sweetness that just doesn't let you put it down! A great little change up.

A perfect 2003 H. Upmann Monarca A/T. This cigar was a thing of beauty. Dark, oily, tan wrapper. Right out of tube it was perfectly smooth, perfectly rolled, and it smelled like a dream. It lit easily, drew and burned perfectly, and showed that awesome aged Upmann tobacco flavor: some roasted nuts, slightly sweet toasted tobacco, and a subtle maraschino cherry almond syrupy finish that just melted in my mouth. Superb. Far better than the box of excellent '03 Sir Winstons I have been smoking.

JL Supreme RE Canada 2011. First one from the box and a real surprise. Loads of flavor and complexity. A new contender for one of the best REs yet. I put them right up there with the SLR Pacificos. My girlfriend loved it too and kept grabbing it out of my hand and saying "Yum!" after every puff.

R&J Cazadores from 2002. Brilliant.

I am not a big fan of R&J from recent years, to me they seem to have somewhat of a hollow taste/feel to them, but this particular cigar blew my mind.

So strong in taste and kick, yet so smooth in terms of no harshness whatsoever.

The kick that this cigar holds made me feel as if i became somewhat "drunk".

Good stuff.

Sir Winnies from a cab of Apr 2010

Just can stay away from them .Smoked 4 in the last month, all consistent 93-95.

And they are fresh....

2011 RA EL. Even fresh this cigar is superb. I don't know how I will keep the other couple I have stored away and not smoke them. Might have to get a box very soon.

The box of HQ Upmann Petit Coronas that I received from Rob a couple of weeks ago. There are smoking gloriously at the moment. A total surprise since I was waiting for a completely mute cigar at such a young age.

Best,

Michel

I would have to say the monte maravillas no. 1 or the h. upmann butifarra. Both were absolutely amazingthumbsup.gif!

A tie between an 08 Monte Tubo and the La Gloria Cubana (DR) Rabito de Cochino

I enjoyed my RA 2011 EL the most.

To be honest... so far... the worst cigar of April for me so far... (ok... only one cigar into the month... I know...) is an RA Extra...

It was from the same box as the others... but such a dud...

Even though I had many of my favorites and bigger or more expensive cigars during March, the one that really stood out for me was a NOV 2009 Siglo I. I normally enjoy these but this stood out and was easily a 94 pt Cigar for me.

Easy. 2008 SLR DC. smoked a ton of smokes in march, averaging 3+ per day and most were very good to excellent. The SLR DC was absolutely transcendent.

If I assume Rob is talking current offerings, then I gotta say LGC2 and Pshorts. Brilliant.

Otherwise..... 07 RA Estupendos. Like Cherry Garcia ice cream.

The Extras are hit and miss so far. But they still call me.

Cazadores bring up the rear.
