ebhead Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I'm good for 6pm....can only stay for an hour or so though. Anyone planning to get there earlier?
ebhead Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 before I forget, is the reservation under your name Frank?
tdlfoto Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 just look for a pack of thugs out on the patio lol
Puros Y Vino Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 before I forget, is the reservation under your name Frank? Yes.
Ginseng Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 Okay, Looking forward to tomorrow evening. I am working late and then getting prepped for tomorrow so it looks like sushi takeout in the hotel room tonight. Man, that first cigar is going to taste bloody fantastic. Wilkey
Blackham Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Most likely I'll be heading there early tomorrow (4:30 - 5), look for the guy with a double corona. -Joe
CanuckSARTech Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 ....Time 6PM good for everyone? You can always go in earlier if you like and enjoy some mojitos. Six pm sounds great. I may be a bit earlier if I'm able to - it all depends on things here on the base today and tomorrow. If I'm able to pop in earlier, I'll text ya, Enis.
Blackham Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Don't know if you have an access to a vehicle Wilkey, but you can reach the restaurant by either taking the 504 street car or the ttc subway. Should take around 30-40 minutes google map
ebhead Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Coolio...let me know, Keith. Now to ponder the see-gar I need to pick out for tomorrow.
ebhead Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Yes. Thanks, Frank. To everyone else, don't mind my postings, trying to get my count up. EB

If I'm able to pop in earlier, I'll text ya, Enis. I might be early too. Keith, use the time to pick the toilet your head is going to be dunked in at the end of the night. After all, you are getting KEITHEDTM tomorrow right?

canadianbeaver Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 If anyone wants any coffee brought to them tomorrow night, PM me and I will bring it for you.
Puros Y Vino Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 It never gets old! So true. I will always be one of the first to remind Keith of his folly that evening. But I will also be one of the first to defend it too. Prior to that herf that boy lived as pure a life as a Shoalin Monk. No booze, cigars, ate well. lots of torturous exercise. Once he made MP he had good reason to "celebrate" Let's help Keith relive those memories tomorrow folks.
CanuckSARTech Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Thanks, Frank. To everyone else, don't mind my postings, trying to get my count up. EB Not bad work. It's only taken you a year and a half to get this far....

After all, you are getting KEITHEDTM tomorrow right? Nope. No getting KEITHEDTM tomorrow. I'll have driving back up to the base to think about, as well as the following day of work - just a social evening out, not one where I can imbibe. It'll still be fun though.... And yet..... I will also remind you that there was no toilet dunking. The use of a toilet (or rather the area around a toilet) has nothing to do with dunking one's head in said toilet. Vastly different things. LOL.
blotto649 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 blotto649 ( ) Cool beans! It's Mike, btw. I should be there between 7-7:30.
Ginseng Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 It looks like won't be there right at 6:00. Maybe 6:30. I'm wrapping up around 5 and then heading back to the hotel to drop my my equipment. You say it's 30 minutes from the King Street district? Looks like I will have to cab it. Wilkey

You'll just find a bunch of guys drinking and into their first of many cigars. Give your cabby the address and nearest intersection and you'll be there in no time.

Well, I'll see you all tomorrow evening. BTW, do they have food? Or should I eat before coming over? Wilkey

lonsdaleto Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Count me in as well. It's been ages since my last herf. I'll probably be there 5:30 ish.
Ginseng Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 They have Cuban food. The tapas are especially good. Aww yeah. Music to my ears. Wilkey
Ginseng Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 Okay, I've got a quick question for you folks. I travel light and haven't any spare luggage space. What's the best way to go about sending a souvenir back to the states? Wilkey
