2007 Honda Accord. Call me cheap but I've always thought cars are the biggest drain/waste of money going. I go for practical and reliable

Same attitude here.

Currently have a 2003 vibe, I drive them until they are too expensive to fix.

You're cheap! :)

In all seriousness, I absolutely love driving - if I was forced to make a choice between driving or cigars, I would give up cigars without a second thought. (Luckily that's not a choice I've ever had to make.) The sounds, the sight, the feeling... nothing bring a smile to my face quicker than making a monster 2nd gear down shift and taking a tight corner. A little chirping from the tires, a lot of accelerator... good times! I would love to have a supercar, but I'm not a super-rich driving enthusiast... so I'm more than happy with the Audi S4. It's got pretty solid performance as is, but I can go to APR and spend less than $2000 to get an ECR flash, exhaust system improvements, and a supercharger pulley upgrade that will bring on some nice Stage III performance (i.e. power would go from the as-is 333bhp to 408bhp with the upgrades). I won't mess with any of that stuff until my warranty expires, though... so probably another year and a half (when I hit 100K miles).

Some people like cars, some people don't. I'm glad to be one who does. :)

Cheers,

I've got:

- Toyota Tundra Crewmax 4x4 Limited - Love it!!!! I've always had GMC trucks until this, and I will never go back. I've caught flack about buying foreign, but my truck was made in San Antonio, Tx.

- 1957 Ford Truck - My Grandad bought it new in 1957, my uncle learned to drive on it, my dad learned to drive on it, my brother learned to drive on it, and I learned to drive on it. "3 on the tree *******"

My Wife has:

- Toyota Sequoia (completely decked out with every damn bell and whistle imaginable and then some. ( She is a Mustang freak, and has had Mustangs her entire life. When we had a baby, she knew she had to have a "mom mobile" so we traded in her mustang GT for this. She cried.

- 1965 Mustang Coupe (sitting in her dad's barn) no pic

-Recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry Sport for her too.

Hyundai Elantra...I commute to work and back with the bus so I only have 40k KM's on the car in 2.5 years of owning it...most of that milage is from summer road trips.

2011 white Golf 122 TSI, FYI this car costs about 40000$ here in Sweden. Will change it in a year and get the new BMW 3 series station wagon (about 70000$ with the 2liter diesel engine)

I love GTIs! I've owned four German cars - 1977 VW Dasher stationwagon, 1985 VW Scirocco, 2007 GTI MkV, and the 2011 Audi S4. You can see the nose of the GTI in the photo I posted with my Triumph bike at the top of the thread, but I'll add another photo of it here just because I loved that car so much! :)

GTI_frontleft2-vi.jpg

I bought it brand new in 2007... put nearly 160K miles on it and traded it in towards the 2011 Audi S4. The plates (TK 421) were more appropriate for this GTI, but I had to keep it (because I love the reference!) for the Audi. Not quite the same since the Audi isn't white... but it's still clever, IMHO. :)

I do love German automotive engineering!

Used to have (1998 'til about 2004) my Jeep - 1988 YJ Wrangler, inline 6-cylinder done .20 over, Dana upgraded axles and diffs, Skyjacker 4" lift kit done "spring-over" (9 1/2" of total lift), with 35"x12.5"x15R Mud Kings on American Racing Outlaw II rims with a 4" heavy offset. Lots of other little mods and upgrades. It was a show-piece that I'd drown in the mud every now and again...

My current is a 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD double cab, performance intake and stainless exhaust, with paint-matched hard-fibreglass tonneau cover. Bought brand new in 2005, currently about 150k kilometers on it, and running like a champ. A few minor mods (off-road upgrades, larger BFG All-Terrain tires, engine tweaks, etc.) that aren't in the picture - vehicle stance is about 2 or 3 inches taller now than shown....

Just bought my wife a 2011 Rav4 sport 4x4 cute-ute, in dark-grey graphite metallic. Quite nice - fun to drive actually. Very good vehicle for her, with ease of getting in and out, 4-wheel drive, all the bells and whistles added, tons of room with the redesign, etc.

And, the fun play toy (no pics) is a joint enjoyment with my parents, a 2003 BMW Z3 roadster (silver convertable). That thing is all guts - tiny little cruiser, with a HUGE V-8 to it, pure power.

Sorry....no Bugatti's for me.... :(

Use to have that car also with all the bells and whistles... The wife and I were coming home late one night and were exiting the expressway and hit a patch of black ice and cart wheeled the car 3 times. That car saved our lives with the air curtains and all that ****.

Love that bike. I ride a Suzuki C50 I picked up in 2005. I don't have any good pictures on my laptop, but I'll update my post later. Your Audi is pretty good too I guess ;)

Took this shot on the Cabot Trail when I rode out to Eastern Canada. It was a haul, but worth this view.
