Ginseng Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Cracked open a box of RyJ Cazadores (EPR SEP 07). Sitting on my back deck, drinking a big mug of Chinese herbal tea, and writing my candidacy statement for the HOA Board of Directors elections. Cherish the Ladies rocking on Spotify. The cigar is everything, everything one could expect. Powerful, dense and chewey, rich to make your head spin. Tons of ligero no doubt as it is smoking so slowly, deliberately and punching back with jabs and body blows that have me grunting "thank you sir may I have another!" Just recalled a few 08's from the locker and refilled the chamber with a couple of 11's. Yeah, I could keep doing this...like forever. Wilkey

And good luck with your candidacy, and the election.
riazp Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Reading your description of that cigar, you'd think you're talking about a Ramon Allones or a Bolivar...not a RyJ! i've heard that the cazzy is a helluva powerhouse of a cigar. I will defenitly have to track a few down to try it before i want to deceide on a box.

I make it up to Montreal a few times a year and I'd be happy to bring a few to share the next time I'm in town. Really, this is a singular cigar experience (especially in the Romeo y Julieta line) that all Habanophiles should experience. I am a big Bolivar and Ramon Allones fan I can say that the Cazadores is a soulmate of the best of those marcas, if a bit sweeter and juicier. Wilkey

Ginseng Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 i remember being disappointed every time... In what ways have you found them not to your liking? No cigar is for everyone but perhaps if we can hear the negatives, that will help folks guess whether Caz would be for them? Wilkey

Only had two, both rich, fruity, and bloody strong!
cigcars Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Apparently, we have to find a R&J Caz. with some AGE on it??
laficion Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I'm enjoying a box from 2010 and having a blast, excellent smoke. For all the guys who find that they are STRONG , you should have smoked them in the 80's, they were really brutal then.
