nubchin Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Dont know if this works for everyone, since some dont even listen to music while puffing , but the idea is to just post your music to accompany your favorite sticks, Herftunes or just post the music video or music related films you enjoy while puffing and chilling out or with friends , herf etc. I have to start with something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD1ccZsNS_M
DinoCop05 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Excellent idea! I like your choices. Makes me feel like I'm in Cuba....lol
CanuckSARTech Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Very cool idea. Another forum I'm on, the Ridgid Power Tools Forum, does something like this, where everyone posts cool tunes in a "Currently listening to...." thread.
Rushman Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I rarely smoke alone, so when I'm with other smokers, my music is good conversation (or poker). When I am alone at the shop and smoking on the porch, I throw on a Latin mix as it goes well with the atmosphere. It includes Compay Segundo, Los Van Van and BVSC plus several Mexican groups like Mana. Otherwise it's "shuffle".

Keep it safe brother .
nubchin Posted October 19, 2011 Author Posted October 19, 2011 Its finally getting cold out here lately , have to stock up on Party Shorts . Just lit a Litto Gomez Todays Leaftune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk20o_-LZn8
Ghabanos Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I have been listening to ratatat.. electronic music...
Ryan Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Seeing Kelvis in the first post brings me back. I'd be lying if I said I knew him but we did have some laughs with him in a certain den of iniquity in Havana. He knows how to enjoy himself. He got on stage that night with singer Osdalgia Lesmes, easily my favourite Cuban singer. Great stuff. Rob Fox and Kelvis Ochoa, separated at birth?
Ryan Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Since I mentioned Osdalgia.. This make me n-Osdalgia-c, for more reasons than I could ever describe. Actually Kelvis makes an appearance here about 0:40 in. Sorry about the background noise, highly recommend seeing her if you ever get a chance, she did a tour in Miami recently.
mazolaman Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 From the album 'solo piano' by Gonzales. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3j-Fts0b9Q&feature=related Beautiful,autumnal....great with cigar.
Warren Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 If I was to have a smoke while listening to the second guy it would have to be with ear plugs firmly installed. I can't stand a badly tuned guitar.

Then you must have arrived in Cuba just after I left because the girl who I used to hang out with worked and helped Kevis and Descemer's production team , then with Habana Blues the movie team and Interactivo . Then they became the hipe for the new generation , and if Im not mistaken most of them headed to Spain after that . Todays Leaftune The part 1 of Musica Cubana movie by Wim Wenders ( part 9 in total )with out english subtitles but nice IMO . Osdalgia is in too , indeed the new clasic cuban voice . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Xy3fv9RpjU
