nubchin Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Dug into my 2009 SLR DC , slightly young but smoother then the last time . Since one of my favorite musician is Eddie Palmieri , this version played by Avishai Cohen blows my mind also . Happy smokes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-KYIgCpjFs But the original rocks
mazolaman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 The film "24 hour party people" was on the other night, which is about the late Tony Wilson, who was integral to the rise of the Manchester music scene. Great film. This was on. A nice Nobbiolo and a R and J no 2.

khomeinist Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Joy Division/Early New Order.... hypnotic. The first two or three New Order albums are in my top 100.
nubchin Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 If you happen to be in Cuba in the month of July , Santiago de Cuba is the place to be . That beautiful city owes me my pair of shoes . Had a HdM EE , not a complex stick but still enjoyable . Happy smokes
dB69 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I thought you old farts might like this. Thanks for the compliment, Sir! That is quite cool indeed.

dB69 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Very delicious Punch RS12 with the new, and the best (IMO), album of Opeth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao8d5Vuv99A ...WOW, that was an extremely wonderful cigar!
mazolaman Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Loved that mash up. well, the red wine (a nice chianti reserva) has lost the battle that it was never going to win. And with PLPC. I've been listening to a lot of Paco Pena of late. I saw him a couple of years ago in a theatre in London, with a flamenco troupe, which was absoloutely breathtaking. Love this because there are so many hints at different forms and nations music... Just when you think you can play guitar....you realise you are but a chimp with a typewriter.
khomeinist Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Some abstract tracks..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKCcY6IHKXE&feature=related

Holy ****, what a guitar player , also found "Granadinas" piece and had to go back and forth a few times and on each replay I had to relight my cigar cause every thing freezes . Atleast it says Arabe but Greek? Turkish? Indian? inbetween every thing , loved this piece Mazol I have always wondered what class of brain structure do classic guitar players have ,,, it seems they have at least four separate brains each playing there strings at once . Since i brought up Jimi Hendrix . I always get amazed by his drummer Mitch Mitchell too, would be hard to follow the craziness. Happy smokes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrbcDk643t8
mazolaman Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Nice tunes Db, I loved rainbow bridge, and always had Pali Gap, and Hear my train a commin' on repeat (or rather, I rewound the tape, remember that)?! Mitch Mitchel was a class jazz type drummer... Some classic Scottish pop from me today, one of my favourite pop/rock records of all time, heavy with beach boys style harmonies. From the aclaimed album Grand Prix.
dB69 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 It's the independence day in Finland, so I'm listening to Sibelius and smoking one of my best cigars, a Party Corona. And by the way, Mr Jean Sibelius was also a well known cigar smoker.
Phillycyclocross Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 In a revolutionary mood today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsnOilKH9OU
