BMWFan Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Hello all, I,ve been smoking Cuban cigars for about 12 years now. Kind of stopped for a year or so but got the itch again this summer. Look forward to learning and sharing with you all. BMWFan
Ginseng Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Welcome aboard, BMWFan! I'm not too far from you down here in Northern Virginia. Sorta got the same pattern as well...been enjoying Havanas since the mid-late 1990's and went into a bit of hibernation this last year as we relocated and started a new life here. Back full force now though. Believe it or not, the ebb year was good. A chance to rediscover my cigars and my palate...and I've got some cigars with age ready to smoke. Cheers, Wilkey

Wilkey good thing you kept your humidity stable during your sabatical. Unfortunately I did not and lost some really good smokes. Restocking now. That's how how/why I found the czar. That earthquake was scary earlier yes? I thought the house was gonna fall down.

Restocking now. That's how how/why I found the czar. That earthquake was scary earlier yes? I thought the house was gonna fall down. Bummer. It's fun to start again, isn't it? Yeah, I use coolers and self-made silica and after a year, some of these untouched coolers had cigars that were as pristine as when they were loaded. Wilkey
