Sitting at the San Sara bar on a beautiful Dublin day enjoying a HC rum and Punch royal Selection 12.....tapping out this post and watching the world go by. It's tough !LOL!

Flew in last night and caught up with Rob, Andy and Harry. Rob kindly picked me up from the airport and delivered me to the boutique La Stampa Hotel which has one of the largest hotel bars I have ever seen complete with a great covered cigar smoking area overlooking the beautiful and vibrant streetscape. It was here that we caught up with Andy and harry for some cigars, drinks and laughter. Andy outdid himself by bringing some sensational Partagas LE Piramides.

Crashed relatively early yesterday albeit on my internal clock it was 6am HK time. I like the cosy rooms at La Stampa. Old world, big fluffy bed, a shower which only took me 20 minutes to work out. Managed to blow the power in the room this morning.....twice...but the friendly staff insist it was their fault. Bless them! Great breakfast of eggs, bacon, blood pudding, pork sausages and coffee. WiFi throughout the hotel and all inclusive for 130 Euros a night. You have to love it.

Rob has a few things planned for me this afternoon and I hope to catch up with the lads later in the evening. tomorrow is business followed by dinner and a get together by the local JJ Fox community which I am looking forward to imensely.

Dublin really is a beautiful city. The people are friendly, the Guinness excellent and a relaxed pace to life that reminds me of home.

Hasta Manana!

Great to see you looking so well last night Rob.

If you noticed I was looking over your shoulder a bit last night, there were two women sitting behind you, as they were getting drunker, were getting closer and were just about to kiss.. While it's great to see you and all, well you know..chicks kissing!

See you later up the mountains!

blood pudding x2????

it's a sauasage made with oats, lumps of fat, blood and spices. No, it doesn;t taste like a crunchy nose bleed lol, the taste I can probably best descrbie as a 'maduro sausage' :D it's lovely, called black pudding here and something else in spain too

Glad you enjoyed the 'full Irish' - never quite got black pudding myself, but it's a local favourite. Hope the meetings go well and I'l see you tomorrow evening!
