Busy day today at Czar house as we host master roller Ramses where he will be preparing leaf and rolling cigars for tonights FOH gala bash.

I will post some photo's throughout the day and later this afternoon conduct a video interview with Ramses which we will show later on in the week.

Should be a great day

G'day Prez,

All the best for today. Wish I could fly over to attend. I'll be seeing the master Ramses next weekend in Auckland.

Looking forward to the photos and interview.

Cheers

God, any chance you can put aside some of those cigars Ramses is rolling for people to order, who can't be there tonight? Even a 2-3 stick sampler would be awesome.

Good luck for the bash tonight, i'm sure it'll be great. Looking forward to the photos.

As much as I would love to, Ramses is not a machine :D

I could make him roll all day but that is not the way we do things here. He will wrap up in 2 hours, sit on the deck over a beer/cigar and we will catch up and shoot some vid. These guys work hard and they can be pressed too hard on occasion. He will roll tonight at the shindig for a few hours but again I want him to down tools and spend time with friends answering questions and generally having a great time. Such is the way we always do it and their recollections of time spent with ourselves is always worth far more than an extra 100 cigars rolled.

A very noble plan and gesture. Rob, you are quite the astute businessman, always thinking of everyone and thinking ahead - I don't know why Smithy and Lisa ***** so much!!! :D:D:D

I think Lisa still wants a raise. :P

In all seriousness now, it sounds like a great time to be had - wish I was there. Sounds like you've arranged this nicely. Wish we had these opportunities in Canada for this type of event.

Didn't you have Hamlet come through this time last year?

No idea - didn't hear anything about it, but then again, there's not a major connecting factor for the cigar community in Ontario/Canada, at least until I found things on here.

I pop into my local b&m stores and LCDH from time to time, and keep my eye out for things, but nothing caught my eye along these lines.

Maybe I just need to pay attention more - at least on here, it's up front and center.
