maalouly Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Well done Smithy on the editing Great review. I am very excited for the Tampa.... Cant bloody wait. AMEX at the ready! Quick question, how long was the smoking time on these? Between an hour and a half to two hours. If I would base it on the way I smoke it will take me a good 2 and half hour.
Smooth Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Between an hour and a half to two hours. If I would base it on the way I smoke it will take me a good 2 and half hour. Cheers mate. Sounds very good... Im quite a slow smoker at times too
bassman Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I do like heavy cigars. Will definately get some- just how many depends on the price.
Ken Gargett Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Ken to the rescue! just another day at the office.
kjellfrick Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Ohhhh, that sounded very promising! Good work, Rob, Ken and Elie!
Warren Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I've seen the cigar in person and it is a beauty, I'll have to save my pocket money. I see Rob was demonstrating some very practiced hand movements towards the end of the video. A little confronting really.
nonameno Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Hello Gentlemen, Wonderfully entertaining review, as all of your youtube wonders are! The TAMPA sounds great and I look forward to getting some in hand as well. Is there a timetable for when these might become available? Thank you, Curtiss
El Presidente Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Welcome mate. They should be available in Sept at this stage. That was our original timetable and we are on schedule.
CigarmanTim Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Cohiba price range or Bolivar? So I can ramp up the cash I hide from the Old ball and chain.
maalouly Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Did anyone notice Rob's reaction to the cigar at 2:39, that pretty much sums up the entire experience.
n2advnture Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 EXCELLENT! Can't wait to try them Rob, they sound like they are right up my flavor profile ~Mark
Van55 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I enjoyed the review and I know that Chuck would be pleased and proud of this edition. The cigar might be just a tad on the thick side for his taste, but the flavor profile sounds right up his alley. I hope these make it to the FoH market in September and that the market versions are as exceptional as these Beta samples seem to be.
samb Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Great review, am certainly looking forward to this smoke.
