Habanakane21 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Fellas, has anyone here had the opportunity to sample the new 2010 Limitada smokes yet. Montecristo Grand Edmundo (Girth 52 x 150 mm in the length) Partagás Serie D Especial (Girth 50 x 141 mm in the length) Trinidad Short Robustos T (Girth 50 x 102 mm in the length) I'm guessing you can't go wrong with the Partagas Serie D. I'm anxious to see a review of these cigars.
First Lady Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 We got our first shipment and I left a few aside for Rob to review... we are going to let them rest for a couple of weeks first than we will do a video review.... they look very pretty

BolivarSmoker Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Box of the Partagas on the way. Eager to give them a go.
anacostiakat Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Rooting for the Partagas! I am thinking on giving these a try as well.
rock Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 I have had the partagas d especial, it is a great smoke and I love the size. Starts off mild but builds to a strong smoke in the end. The trinadad is a nice smoke but my opinion is the partagas is better smoke overall.

The trinadad is a nice smoke but my opinion is the partagas is better smoke overall. I don't like to hear it starts mild, as far as ageability goes. I want it to start off stronger. I guess maybe that is my preference. For instance, I only like the second half of a Cohiba Siglo VI.
rock Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Just had another D especial and it starts in a mild way but, it really becomes strong and makes you crave another one. My herf ranked it a strong 94.
rock Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 I like the especial alot more than the d4's. Just my opinion.
ksblazer Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Just wanted to dig this up to see if their is anyone else that has tried them?
Cig Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I haven't had any myself, but I read a not so good review of the PSD4.
JY0 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I have tried a few of the Monte Grand Edmundo. I think it's a great cigar and will age well. Lots of mouth watering, flavorful smoke in this stick.
adic88 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I've had them all and the MGE takes the cake for me for 2010.
Habanakane21 Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 I've since had the chance to try all all 2010 Limitadas. I have to go with the Partagas Serie D. It was great all around. Loved it
SeanL Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Does anyone know which lines will get ELs this year?
jjeng Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 For 2011: Cohiba Hoyo de Monterrey Ramon Allones I'm still waiting for the Por Larranaga Encantos!
LateApex Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I hope the PSD4's turn out to be a good smoke. I have a PSP box ageing. I've been resisting trying one in hopes of making it last a long time and only tapping into them when it's a choice smoke at it's peak..... It's hard to hold off!
