Perfect after a barbeque or with a bottle of Pinot Noir. 4. Trinidad Robusto Extra In Denmark we are blessed with some of the most delightful licorice made by old traditional methods. The Trinidad Robusto Extra is a really close substitute with a lovely creamy aroma. Far superior to the Montecristo No. 2 which has a similar flavor profile. 3. Vegas Robaina Famosos Imagine the best roasted cup of coffee you have ever had. This cigar is the essence of the imagination. Enjoy it with a shot of dupo espresso. Don Alejandro, what a legend, Rest In Peace! 2. Bolivar Royal Corona This cigar can challenge any cigar out there on the sweet’n’sour flavor profile. Try it with a bottle of Muscato d’Asti. 1. Partagas P #2 A rich creamy smoke like no other. A symphony of nutty, coffee and oaky flavors. I allways pare it with a hot cup of Pukka “Three Berry” tea. bassman Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 Funny how tastes differ. Not only are none favorites, but I don't even own any of the five. My top 5 in my Humidor 97 Bolivar Corona Gigante cab. Rarely does such a large cigar have power AND complexity. 01 SLR DC- still waiting for a subsequent year to come even close 02 Partagas Lonsdale cab. Hard to find, but if one comes available I'll buy it. Currently have 3 cabs 02 Bolivar CE cabs. My PE are overly blended with ligero 1. Partagas Lusitania......... I have 1 (10) pf PE, HQ and PSP I smoke only the HQ and PE.....both are great and never ever let me down. mm12 Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 My top 5: 5. 08 Bolivar Corona Gigante- chocolate, rootbeer, and earth 4. 07 Ramon Allones Estupendos- sour cream and rich cheese 3. 02 LGC Medaille d'or no. 1- absolutely dripping with honey 2. 08 Partagas Lusitania- strong, typical wood/earth/spice Partagas profile. Can't wait for these to get some years on them 1. 01 Ramon Allones 898- very full bodied, wood, cream, earth, christmas spice, longest finish I've ever seen in a cigar by far Edit: 07 Punch Royal Selection 11 belongs on this list somewhere Maybe 3 or 4.
