The photo was taken at a cousins place. He had a friend who collected all these different sci fi movie props . He had a lot of Star Wars full size figures and this Independence Day alien.

The guy passed away a few years ago and his collection went to auction.

Most of the figures sold for an average of $50,000 each.

Some of them he won in competitions and some of them he bought for about $1,500.
