In the Washington DC area.

After the two feet just before Christmas this will be another historic storm according to the much inaccurate forcasters.

It started coming down about an hour or so ago. Won't stop till sometime like 10 pm Saturday.

More forcast for next Tuesday! :P

I can see on the radar that storm is moving very slow, you'll get it for a while!

It just south of us now but heading north in its own sweet time.

I love a good snow. Start a fire and grab a smoke!

Wow, hang in there man and be safe.

You can blame Punxatawny Phil for that.

It's so wierd. Here in Montreal, where at this time of year we are usually buried in snow, there is hardly anything on the ground, and nothing forecast for the next ten days.

thunder snow? never heard of that.

Unmistakable flashes of lightning followed by the crack of thunder muted by the snow on the ground. It's eerie.

What is the PAM spray for?

I spray the snow shovel with PAM to keep the snow from sticking to it and weighing down the shovel. With the most recent update putting us at 16-22", I'm gonna need every edge I can swing.

Wilkey

No snow down here in Norfolk, VA (outside of a very brief flurry). However, mom/dad/brother up in Woodbridge (30 miles south of DC) say that 30" is in the forecast!
