  1. How about a Liga shaped Feral Flying Pig or regular Flying Pig vitola?
  2. 5 bundles of Cananoza is setting the bar high. N6 Cananoza is my tops but only 2 bundles thus far.
  3. I believe Grand Cathedral was having liquor license issues with the man recently. Corona Cigars (Davidoff) at International is a beauty of a store. They offer a great selection of sticks, rum, and bourbon. King Corona in Ybor (listed above) is a nice, laid back spot. I recommend dinner or lunch at Ulele along our riverfront area. You can walk with drinks and smoke outside here. Dinner at Charley's Steakhouse is never a bad idea. You generally need to make a reservation but if you get there when they open, you can snipe a couple seats at the bar, which I prefer.
  4. Glad to have these available as CCs are being priced outside my wheelhouse now.
  5. I just ordered another bundle of Canonazo. Needed them like a hole in the head, but they're so damn good. These will sit for a bit as I work through my first bundle.
  6. I think the Canonazo might be my cigar of the year and it's only February.
  7. According to the wife, we are allowed 2 bottles each to bring back. She picked up some wine "diaper" bags to put each bottle in. If they happen to break in your suit case, the liquid is absorbed. Not sure how feasible it is to ship wine back to Tampa? We're traveling with a group and they recommended bringing a collapsible tote/bag of some sort to put in your suit case. You can load it up over there with goodies and use it as a carry on for the way home. It looks like I can bring back hard cheeses, but unfortunately no cured meats. Anyone know about pocket knife carry or swiss army knife carry? Seems to be acceptable outside of the Vatican, Colosseum, or museums. I keep seeing that you must state a reason for carrying such as hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting. Is a small blade acceptable for peeling fruit or cutting cheese?
  8. Bumping this. Headed to Rome, Amalfi Coast, Palermo in March. First time traveling to Europe. Do I need to declare the sticks that I take over with me? Based on the comments above, there doesn't seem to be an issue with me smoking them over there.
  9. Picked up the Churchills and Trinity. I got the box of Canonazo on the December sale and tried one and it was pretty damn good. Delivery to Tampa is quick.
  10. I just picked up a bundle of Canonazo to try out before the deal ends.
  11. Revisiting this in regards to Cigar Oasis Plus. I have the older version and it seems to have died. I'll plug it in using the ribbon cable and it lights up and that it's it. It's not even running and the buttons don't do a damn thing. This is third overall Cigar Oasis humidifier that I have gone through in about 7 years (2 of the Plus and 1 of the smaller Ultra). Is that about the average on these things? Are the Hydras better? Not really keen on the Hydras low alert unless you can turn that off.
  12. We do our annual showing of Clark outside on the projector with good friends. I usually get 20-25 pounds of stone crab to demolish beforehand.
  13. Our place was adults only so no kids which won't work for you. The accommodations were pretty nice and the food options wree good. Beware, the surf and rip current are brutal. So when booking a place be careful about that. I'm not a beach guy but some of our crew went down to test out the waters and ended up ass over teacups with sand in multiple places. I stayed at the pool bar with my cocktails and cigars.
