Remember the Anejados from a few years back? Secretly rolled and aged and presented to the world, would I really want to pay this much $$ for sticks if I could not trust the hype? Possibly the tobacco for these came from the 2014 crop, I remember the 2015 sticks I had were not the best of the 2010 to 2015 era.

From 2020 to 2023 I had several boxes that were bad. Construction issues, constantly. Several RyJ sizes. I quit buying them.

My 2001 Camacho sticks have reached a point of grace and harmony I would never have believed. Back then, they were possibly the strongest sticks on the market, and even after 5 or 6 years of age, they would thump you around pretty well. As said before, it depends on which cigars you try to age, and how they are kept.

Talk to the folks at Fox. I would seek out the late 90's stock, which I am fond of, and I would look for some of the discontinued sticks I have heard so much about. There are plenty of regular stock gems, I would not buy any LE cigars or Regionals.

It is not the fault of the US that Cuba is failing. The rest of the world can trade there and prop them up, and is not doing so. The huge increase in cigar prices is only going to further restrict funds going to Cuba ,and I will not support the increase. Until Cuba starts to try to pull itself up, they are going to suffer.
