They reallly have been a star of 08 but recent shipments have been a tad patchy in construction. Have found this morning a couple of good HQ boxes. Beautiful rich aroma. Prez, your HQ and PSP choices highlight the great job you guys do in picking excellent stock and ensuring that your customers get the best quality smokes possible....But what happens to boxes that you inspect and really aren't impressed with? Like, if you open a box and your first impression is "Gee, these are shyte!" do you put them away for a few years to see if they improve so you can sell them? Do you send them back to your supplier? Do you just shrug and send them to Ken? Just something I've been wondering. I've been impressed with the stock I've received from Czar so far, and from the sounds of it, everyone else is too....but I figure you must get at least SOME dud boxes from your supplier..... Keep in mind we are wholesale distributors for the state of Queensland. lets go back one step. Quality is a bell curve currently skewed to the right (which is good). About 30% of cigars fall into that below private client standard. if they are the mass market cigars (Cohiba Robusto, D4, M2. M4 etc) they go to the wholesale market (pubs, clubs, bottleshops). I didn't go through all the boxes of Connie 3 yesterday as I was just answering a question. Lise was right in that we had sold the box pictured but I went through a few more this morning. I have been looking for you I will have to leave the Monte Especialles No 2 and the Dip 4 until I get to the warehouse Tuesday. Nothing here in the Czar humidor passes muster. I found a spectactular looking box of Monte Especiales No 2 but a tad underfilled. What I have set aside is the fllowing. Just Liase with Lise if anything takes you fancy.
