riderpride Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Untie; I've never extracted, and I've only cut on some Mag 50s that were waaaaay over-humidified.
ChanceSchmerr Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I havn't yet bought a Cab yet, but when I do, I will also be an extractor. I'd like to preserve the ribbon for sure!
ChanceSchmerr Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 By my count, thats about as overwhelming as it gets - Cut the Ribbon - 2 Untie the Ribbon - 2 Extract and leave the ribbon alone - 29 (!)
theo30702 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Never had the heart to cut the ribbon..... so yes consider me a extractor.
Bartolomeo Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 When I finally smoke one from my new boxes resting, I will extract Bart
thechenman Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I'm an extractor as wel, but when the cab is finished, I will untie the ribbon before throwing it in a box with all the others.
frenchkiwi Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I also use the "withdrawal method" ;-) nutha question - do you take the paper out? I used to but then i noticed the cigar wrappers scraping the toothy sides of these cabs when i pull them up by the ribbon... and considering that these boxes don't have any cedar odor to them at all i figure it's no great loss...
bolivr Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Another extractor here. It never occurred to me to untie the ribbon. X 2 here
