OZCUBAN
Bizarre! Fancy Eating Here? Is this not the most bizarre restaurant you've ever seen? Modern Toilet is a Taipei restaurant. It accommodates 100 seats with Each made from toilet bowls. The specialties at the restaurant accompany Sink faucets and gender-coded 'WC' signs that appear on the three-story Structure. The food is served in mini plastic toilet bowls. The toilet rolls That serve for wiping hand and mouth are hung above the tables, which Resemble glass-topped jumbo bathtubs. NOW WE CAN DIE HAPPILY AS WE HAVE TRULY SEEN IT ALL............ Cheers Oz
thechenman
It takes all kinds. To boot it is in Taipei where I was born. Go figure. The soft serve ice cream just turns me off.

zuma
Dang! One mustn't complain if served shîtty food or get pîssed off with the service... Imagine the names for their dishes: "craps" on the breakfast menu, etc... hey, the beer would probably be aptly called "piss draught".

bunburyist
haha - crazy Asia - I'll have to check that out next week. Client dinner anyone? I see a flaw though.....what are the actual toilets like? If they're even remotely similar to the ones in the restaurant then I can see this leading to all sorts of trouble on a drunken night out.... zuma
Wonder what the bathrooms look like? Like a normal dinning room or kitchen, perhaps?
Guest blrrobinson21
Nothing like taking a deuce in the dishwasher.
samb
I actually think thats a pretty neat idea. Its a cool concept, and being stuck in a 'pudunk' town, the food and atmosphere look awesome!!
laficion
I find the concept pretty interesting and original. If you're looking for a change of pace from the traditional dinning habits, this is certainly the kind of place to go. Then again, if the food is not in accordence with your stomach, you wouldn't have to run that far to get some relief.
