shrink Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 The politically correct "redneck" response is: I'd light up the intruder with the laser, and after blowing him away, I'd celebrate with the Cohiba.
maalouly Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I think it's over with the redneck comments and just shoot the gun and then have the cohiba!
blooz4u Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I've got a H&K USP 9.... love it! Cool! I've also got the USP .40 full size, and compact! Fire up the Cohiba first!
thechenman Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I don't know...I think I'd have to light up the target while smoking the Cohiba...
sharks Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Cohiba First then the H&K!! Had a CZ 75ST .40 cal couple of years ago, would have to be one the best handguns I've ever fired thats stock.
tugboat Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 Thanks for all the comments. Once I had that P30 in my hand it was all over. It was hard to decide between the .45 and the 9MM. The P30 just felt better. It replaced my Sig P232 .380 Don't carry often just when the need requires one. The Viridian green laser light is truly awsome since it can be seen in bright sun light as far as I would need it. I don't think you can beat an HK. I'm wondering why no ones asked what the Cohiba is. Something alittle different.

Fuzz AI Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Okay...I'll bite. What type of Cohiba is it? Judging by length, I'd say it was either a Siglo V or a Esplendido.
tugboat Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 i personally prefered the USP 40 when i was in the service Why was that if I may ask.
tigger Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Light the cigar. Here's my spin (nyuk nyuk nyuk) on firearms ownership:
Habanos2000 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Light the cigar. Here's my spin (nyuk nyuk nyuk) on firearms ownership: Damn, remind me again not to break into your house!
tugboat Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 Judging by length, I'd say it was either a Siglo V or a Esplendido. Nope, try again.
Buch0 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Out of curiosity Tugboat, what is the process in getting one of them like over there. I am intrigued as to how hard they make it to get your hands on one, and how much do they cost? Being from Australia, I don't see that stuff everyday and know very little about them in all honesty.. Oh and im talking about the P30, not the Cohiba
tugboat Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 There is no federal regulation requiring a license to purchase any gun. You do need to fill out a form (ATF-4473) from a federally licensed gun dealer. Some of the requirements on the form range from not being a convicted felon or being under a restraining order for domestic violence, convicted of domestic violence, or have been committed to a mental institution. You must also pass an NICS criminal background check which usually takes around 15 minutes to 1 hour. All this for a small fee. A private sale between US citizens does not require that you have the background check and there is no need for the 4473 either. However, on a private sale, you do need to follow all applicable laws both State and Federal and a legal transfer is usually the way everyone goes or should anyway. The HK I purchased is easy to find but a bit expensive. Still wondering about what that Cohiba is.
Colt45 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Still wondering about what that Cohiba is. My guess is Siglo IV.
tugboat Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 My guess is Siglo IV. Close... but no cigar
Tampa1257 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Which one would you light up first? I like both, yet I would light up the Cohiba Sublime first and then the H & K.
samb Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Have you smoked that mystery Cohiba yet Tugboat?
tugboat Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 I like both, yet I would light up the Cohiba Sublime first and then the H & K. You are correct sir!! It's the Sublimes Extra to make no mistake. Purchased two of them and am waiting for the right time.
armedak Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Tugboat, one point of clarification on your post about the requirements to buy a handgun. The requirements for handgun sales between private parties depends on the State you claim legal residency. Some States require all hand gun transfers to be conducted through a licensed gun dealer, even private sales between individuals. Even in the most lenient states, handgun sales between private parties are allowed only between two legal residents of the State. In other words, you can't legally transfer handguns to residents of other States or ship them across State lines without transferring though a licensed gun dealer.
