....some of my best ideas arrive sometime between 3-4 am

Having spent a great deal of time......... researching........:D........ the cigar scene in Kuala Lampur and Singapore I pitched the following idea to Monty, Wishnu and the lads at Connoisseur Divan.

For Singapore....3 cigar blind tasting. Say 20 starters.

You have to call each cigar once smoked before moviing on to the next. If you call it wrong you get knocked out.

The winner of the night becomes the Singapore Champion with name on a special trophy/plate

The following month it moves to Kuala Lampur...and then Bali....and then Hong Long...Tokyo etc.

December each year there is a "smoke off" between the country champions for a the title of "World Champion"

Effectively we have an annual Formulae 1 circuit for cigars.

This idea has some legs as it has passed the initial test of still making some sense upon sobering up.......... :D

Hi Prez.

The first rule of Cigar "Fight Club" is that there is NO Cigar "Fight Club". :D

On a serious note..... it does sound like a great spectacle especially to compete in one.

World Champion? if that is the title, then we need a smoke-off in the rest of the world as well. Right now, it is more like 'This part-of-the-world' champion'. Why not conduct it in the States, Canada, Europe as well? We'd love to be a part of it.
