asmith Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 A fantastic cigar that we compared to the JLS2 and there was one clear winner. This video can now be viewed in HD on YouTube.
CigarmanTim Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Excellent review. I'm sold. I love the DC's. I need some Regios.
Warren Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 It's kind of nice to have a feminine touch to the reviews. Good work Smithy.
mkz Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Thanks for the review! I´ll put these on my mental wishlist...
sounddust Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 The Regios for me has always been a most distinctive-tasting cigar, with a rich cedary and floral sweet nature. It also has a chewy, rich medium-full body that is delight to swirl around one's palate. I'm glad that you guys reviewed it. Oh, and Rob, would boyfriends that bite be a good or bad one?
kilroy Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Smithy... first off very nice on the first high def review... How can y'all ever have Ken back on the deck in high def now?!

kilroy Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Thats a good point, if I was you I would skip the next review it will not be pretty. Two words.... video mosiac! Its like he's in witness protection...
SamuraiJack Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 OMG. This review is so spot on with the reasons this is probably my favorite CC right now. Keys are: medium but so full flavored with a long finish, while still being fresh. Very fruity (mostly ripe peach for me, fig in the special ones). Back third stays complex and rich without darkening or sharpening too much. Light on the typical heavier cedar, chocolate, coffee flavors. LOVE THESE. I also fear that they loose something if aged too long. I think complexity and richness in a light/medium cigar is the ultimate achievement in blending.
sounddust Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Two words.... video mosiac! Its like he's in witness protection... Just gotta deepen his voice a bit and voila! Although I'm afraid his dress code will give him away...
Hugomarink Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I got a 50 cab of '06 Regios that I've recently started digging into and have been extremely impressed. But I've always loved SLRs pretty much across the board.
