JAL Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 While I was having this guitar built for me by Matt Artinger Matt asked if I had any extra cigar bands - I had a few around Well sent them off and latter got these photos of the completed guitar This was just something he wanted to make and I was happy to smoke a few for a good cause. Really need to get some better shots of this because the finish would be crystal clear and have great depth - should look great with the bands and carve top. Anyway, I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Matt and my guitar. I thought people here would enjoy seeing his work and hey it is sort of cigar porn . BTW, Rob - I am sure he would ship it to you if you want John Sorry for the repeat - wrong section first time .
toasterhead Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Hey John, Holy Crap! That is gorgeous! To use a tubo as a pickup cover; brilliant! We wants it, the precious... Dave
laficion Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Wow, really beautiful, Have a great time with it
BonVivant Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 RyJ tubo for a pickup cover should be trademarked immediately
sounddust Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 World Cigar Peace. Where NCs and CCs live in six-string harmony.
shrink Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 A truly stunning work of art. It really needs to find itself into the collection of a true Habanos Connoisseur! Like Cigar Czar's. Thanks for sharing these pix.
thechenman Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Best looking cigtar I have ever seen in my entire life...actually the only one. But seriously, that instrument is a work of art. Beautiful and origiinal. I'd buy one, and I don't even play the guitar...
mazolaman Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 both are really cool guitars, in different ways, great workmanship.
Charltonc Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Gorgeous cigar. Does everyone just smoke cubans? I smoke cubans predominately, but I enjoy some Fuente, Illusione, Ashton, and some others from time to time. I think every region makes great cigars. I would love to try a cuban and cameroon hybrid; I think it would be fantastic.
Staffaz Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 That is one awesome looking guitar ! The other one is a beauty too.
