As I don't have any children that I know of, I don't care about that. But I was just reviewing one of the of You Tube postings and on the side there was this link to a guy smoking a cigar in his car. So I checked this link out, and thats all it was 50 secs of a person smoking in their car. Nothing was said, the car didn't move, just smoked the cigar like there was only 5 mins left to live. But the stupid thing was there were heaps of other videos of people doing the exact same thing. Am I missing something here or is there some sort of pride in the USA in filming yourself smoking in a parked car. Please tell me this isn't true guys and that these are just idiots?

There are proposals here in the states to make smoking in your car illegal if there are children present. First, I don't have any children. That being said, I don't believe you should smoke around your kids. Although God knows our parents did and look how we turned out. But passing a law is simply just another move toward a total nanny state where the gubment knows what is better for you. Personal rights are getting castrated in our march towards socialism. Any way I guess these videos are the equivilent of someone saying stuff it.

Smoking...eating...drinking...putting on makeup...talking on the phone...texting...reading...yes, I've even seen people speeding down the highway reading while driving, on more than one occasion! As for sitting still, smoking, and filming it, I'm seconding fetish.
Shelby07 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I think that smoking has gotten such a bad rap here in the US that many people can't smoke in their own home because of pressure from their kids, spouse, etc. Lots of people have nowhere else to smoke in peace. I believe that there are actually places in the country where you can't even smoke in your own home by law (multifamily apartments or condos/townhouses with a common wall.) However, why someone would post a video on the web showing them smoking in their car is beyond me.

He probably lives in California and they have the strictest anti smoking laws in the U.S.A. I'm sure it was meant as a spoof

I've seen several postings of these "related videos" on the side-bars when I watch FOH vids. Just a guy, smoking a cigar....in leather. As for smoking in my car/truck, I don't. I use my vehicle to get from one place to another, and don't need any distractions in doing so. It's enough just keeping away from the idiots who drive with one foot on the dash.

Most of them revolve around a small subculture within the *** community, where men are sitting around the computer, and they smoke a cigar likes it's going out of style... The really weird ones are the ones with the guys in full body latex/leather outfits including gas masks, and they may or may not be wanking WHILE smoking... I don't get it, but there ya go. Someone has to be buying those Puros Indios and 60 RG POS's. Now you know who and why.
