Thanks to Jose who gifted me these catalogues back in July. So who can pick the timeline and the distributors/markets?

Cool thread. I love the nostalgic value.

Is these aimed for the US market?

As for the "Les Havanes " , I have the same one and I'm sure It's from

the early or Middle 80's when in France you could not find many brands or vitolas.

At the time they were imported , and still today, by Coprova and distributed by Seita now known as

Altadis.

I have another from Coprova which is older, around early 70's, with even less cigars

For the English Market one, I have no Idea, but I would say early 50's

Great pictures.

I'd guess both are 1970s, the top one for H&F, UK and the "Les Havanes" one for Seita, France.

Thanks for posting those, it's a shame some of that packaging is no more.

What is also interesting is that the brand PUNCH in Cuba and MACANUDO in Jamaica,

at that time and before Castro, where owned by the same person, Fernandez, Palicio y Cia.

More interesting is the fact that all of the Macanudo brand cigars that were made in Jamaica,

had binder and fillers from Jamaica but all of the brands wrappers were Havana. Wrappers

from the Punch brand Factory in Havana.

Guy, very interesting piece of information. I'm always wondering if something like this will be possible again

one day in Cuba.
