El Presidente Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I had a rather unfortunate accident on my Montesa Impala last year. A great looking classic cafe tourer became in a momemt of madness a relic. I took the decision to have her repaired/restored in a cigar theme. My painter has just come back with photo's of the tank. She is going to look great in the foyer of Czar house
Colt45 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Stunning. I thought you were going with the Partagas band?
Guest rob Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 No doubt a fake... There shouldn't be so many rows of dots. But seriously, beautiful job!
El Presidente Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 Stunning. I thought you were going with the Partagas band? It was a toss up between the two. In the end I left it up to the painter to decide.
Colt45 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 It was a toss up between the two. In the end I left it up to the painter to decide. Since it shall soon adorn the foyer of Czar House, I take it Mrs. A is no longer allowing you to ride it........
El Presidente Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 Since it shall soon adorn the foyer of Czar House, I take it Mrs. A is no longer allowing you to ride it........ Not intoxicated, not with a cigar and not with my daughter on the back. There are a lot of rules lately at my house
Fuzz Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Awesome paintjob! Though you'd better not let any from Habanos S.A. see it. They may try to sue you for copyright infringement!
Colt45 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Not intoxicated, not with a cigar and not with my daughter on the back. There are a lot of rules lately at my house I'll send you a new skirt for Christmas.
El Presidente Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 I'll send you a new skirt for Christmas. I am a size 12.......OK a 14

Don Candido Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Shrink! That is just so unnecessary! and wrong! and damn! Good thing I did not have a cigar lit. Your picture would have ruined it. I probably would have gagged. DC
mkz Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Stunning artwork!! Be sure to post a picture when it has been mounted.
Tampa1257 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 What rules? Thought you were the " king, Ruler, Dictator, Tyrant, and all around nice guy." or someone that does not live with others "rulz"..................

WYPirate Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Beautiful tins, nice paintwork. Never heard of such a bike. You have any other pics? Edit-- never mind, just googled it. Looks nimble as hell. And fun to boot.
Spartan Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Dayum! that's HOT!!!!! Nice job can't wait to see the end results
Dogwatch Dale Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Sweeeeet! Can't wait to see it all back together.
Warren Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 You know I almost asked you about the bike this afternoon but it slipped my mind , getting old you know. It's going to look fantastic in the hall but I can just see Lisa running errands on it. Are you going to have a helmet painted to match?
Colt45 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Kilt by association... I was thinking an ankle length paisley would be more suitable.
tattoodad13 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Looks great, can hardly wait to see them on the bike Are you going to have a helmet painted to match? Excellent idea.
