nickkrav
just wanted to share this very rare cigar from my collection with everyone out here. This is the largest production cigar ever made its from 1958 Pre Embargo. These cigars sold in 1958 for $5.00 u.s dollars when cigars here in the states sold for $.05 or 2 for $.05 enjoy the photos http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj24/ni...nt=IMG_0656.jpg http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj24/ni...nt=IMG_0655.jpg http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj24/ni...nt=IMG_0654.jpg http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj24/ni...nt=IMG_0238.jpg http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj24/ni...nt=IMG_0240.jpg

I only know of three of these never before have I seen anyone else have one. As far as smoking I would not hesitate to smoke the ones I have since I know of there proper storage but this is a very old and rare cigar so I dont think I could smoke it knowing that. Fair enough, not buying off Ebay etc. is a pretty good policy. How about you Nickkrav, would you put a value on yours? Just out of interest. nickkrav
» Nick, Is the cigar in a glass tube or cello? Yes this cigar is in a glass tube. I have never put a value on it because I never thought about selling it. The other site that you guys have seen these cigars I have posted the pitchers
Punch Joe
I couldn´t take a look at the pics. I have had that cigar on my hand for the first time in June this year, when I visited a collector´s home where he has a large collection of tobacco items. He owns two visible inmenso, a pic of Fidel smoking one of them, autographed by Fidel himself. The cigar is packed in a Coffin case 50 cm long and it was in good condition after all these years. I would post the pics later on.

Jack
No, not yet. I need to find the right event, along with six (or 12?) lads of a like mind and a big box of these! It would be nice to have a comparison tasting with one of the newer versions. » Thanks for the great photo's mate » » Have you smoked one yet?
