f0gax Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Hello all and thank you for this forum. Been lurking around a bit, and am now a member. About me, 35, married, one 3-year old daughter. From the Tampa, FL area. Been smoking cigars for a few years, but would still consider myself a noob with it comes to talking about them. I'm doing my best, but I still can't spot a corona from a churchill from a robusto without a label. But one thing I do know is that I do enjoy the varieties of smokes that come from our friends on the Island. Right now, I have two humidors. One (about 200 capacity) for storage, and a glass top 75'er for display. The storage box is about half full of local hand rolled sticks along with some other ones that are marginal due to a humidification issue a few months ago. The display box has the stuff I want my other cigar buds to see. Which includes a couple 1997 vintage Vegas Robainas that are great cigars. The draw is a little tight, but other than that they are a delight to smoke. I look forward to learning from, and having fun with, all of you.

Also from the Tampa area (Dunedin) and several of us usually get together on Thursday evenings for cigars and conversaion, perhaps you can join us sometime. Our Fearlous Leader El Presidente Rob is heading our way on July 19th, so please make plans for a great day here in Tampa Bay exploring our rich cigar history and joining all of us smoking and joking with Rob.
