You are right - the Anzacs would probably have a spew at all this. But I'd like to think I'd have been

more tactful - used some finesse:

"Lisa sweetykins, I'm sympathetic. I feel your pain. Girl power. Now get in the kitchen and make

me a sandwich"

Whereas with you, perhaps it would go more like this (pinky extended in poofter fashion):

"It's all in your head, now fetch me some salmon and caper canapés - not too big, not too

small - with just a smidge of dill on the side"
