Fatshotbud Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 » Maybe I could afford a Volkwagen branded box of RASCC's :-P How about a '96 Ford Explorer that has not rolled over...... J/K pretty cool looking box :-)
El Presidente Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Brian I know that HSA have been approached many times from serious watch manufacturers to Jewellers etc. To be honest it is the Cuban side of things which bogs down approvals for special projects as you are suggesting. It can take three years from concept to final approval. Most just could not be bothered. I like the idea of PCC say doing a purpose built humidor for Mercedes to fit in 2-3 of its luxury models as an optional extra. This would be easier than a HSA sanctioned project given PCC aleady produce the Siglo line of humidors.

Colt45 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Very generally, it's not my cup of tea. It would strike me as just another marketing ploy. For example, Panerai produces a Ferrari GMT watch. I love Ferraris. I really like Panerai watches. Even though it may be a wonderful watch, I find the whole idea kind of cheesy - but that's just me.
GP012 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 » I suspect some members might like the mini cooper version. . . What's wrong with MINIs?

Colt, I just bought a vintage Girard Perregaux 330 P/4 watch the other day. I like the GP Ferrari watches a lot more than the Panerai watches. I think the cross branding is pretty cool (at least between car and watch). But I'm not so sure it would work between a cigar and a watch.

Prez/Anyone think such a tie in would be possible between a high end car manufacturer and Habanos S.A in order to produce something like this. As an avid car guy I would be first in line to buy.
