But I've noticed so many different folks here carrying on about how great they are, so I ordered a box :-P (Thank you Lisa and minismithy). I haven't tried one yet but these things are beeeutiful, really dark chocolatey wrappers, POS ABR 07. Anyone tried this code yet?

Not tried that code yet, mine are a little older. But I have smoked 20 boxes of these in the past year and every single one has been fantastic!

I've had a few from POS MAY 07. They are pretty good now, but I believe they will be better when

they've had more time to integrate.

I've had a bunch of these over the years from various box codes and finally got my own box since I really do like the RA flavor.

It seems like the RASCC always has a tighter draw in general. Anyone else notice this?

I've smoked about 4 from the same code, and have decided to leave them alone until next winter. Very dark wrapper and I think they have a great future ahead with balance, full body but a little tannic.

I Will probably try them after 18months and then 24.

This small cigar is full of youth and very nervous at his youngest, it needs to rest a bit. I think it delivers it's best at 5 or 6 years, but it's so hard to find some vintage, and so hard to keep them 5 years:-D

Me, too. These are some of the most flavorful Ramon Allones I've ever smoked. I wish that all the RA's tasted this good.

I'm working on '06 boxes and they don't show any signs of youth…

Smoked my first 07 RASCC last night- from FEB. Fantastic. A real powerhouse. Best year I've smoked for this cigar. Stronger than 04-06.

I can say that I honestly havent had one either. I can also say that after reading all of your comments you couldnt pay me not to order 2 boxes. To be honest I was a little disappointed with the 3 or 4 RASS I have had so far. After reading many of the reviews and comments on both I feel that on whole the unanimous vote goes to the RASCC for the better smoke. Different obviously but better. Is that fair to say? I am specifiying just the 06's and 07's.

They may just not be your cup of tea, but I will say that I think the RA marca in general, and RASS in particular, really benefit from 5+ years of age.
