Maduro 5 Comparison

Secretos have made the greatest level of improvement.

Magicos are still a long way behind Genios in my opinion and I know that many of you actually prefer the Magicos.

I've nubbed nearly every Magicos I've had so far. Haven't been so lucky with the four Genios I've had. Two were decent and the other two got pitched at the midpoint and I went for a different smoke.

Haven't had the Secretos.

I'm a Magicos lover though. Was really tempted to buy another box because of this great sale that ends tomorrow but I'm already stocked up and decided that the funds will go to replenishing some of my various robusto stock.

I'd take a good box of CoRos or Monte PE before I went for the Mad5 line. Completely different smokes though. It's all subjective of course.

I had the oppurtunity to taste the Genios thanks to my friends at Partagas in Habana last month. I have to say I love those cigars. I got a very sweet and spicy taste. Be honest I havent tried the other ones yet. I like the the size also.

I myself love the magicos, it is a supurb light/med relaxed smoke. Had an amazing one last year which I reviewed, it blew me away. Secrectos, like a mini magicos only a touch sharper and stronger so very good also..

Have not yet smoked a genios even though I have had a few laying down since they were released.

In order of my preference:

1. Secretos - Have smoked a small handful, and enjoyed them quite a bit

2. Genios - Have smoked one or two, and liked them. Will be smoking another quite soon

3. Magicos - Also had one or two. Wasn't thrilled.

I have only smoked 2 of each, but the Magicos seemed like a concentrated version of the Genios, or say a Genios with an inch cut off (wait, isnt that what it is? ;-)). It's very similar, but missing the 'boring beginning' of the Genios. Anyway, I smoked these right out of the box the day they arrived at Cigarworld in Germany last summer, so disregard the above :-P

Could you explain the differences in the smoking experience between these 2 cigars with a little more detail? Just a few words about the differences in flavour and body?
