Still at home in my boxers. » » Lise....tell me I won the final poker pot....and don't ever let me gamble » again Money what money I thought that was my tip :-D Honey better bring your sunnies as it is nice and bright in the courtyard and boy oh boy what a mess :-D Boys photos to come ..... some good ones Notice I am here at 7.30am in the morning :-(
El Presidente Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Lise....If I had a car I would be right there with you. Trust me....there is a winter frost in Pullenvale this morning....also blowing colder than usual. I have been instructed to have a look at the big pot plant on the deck next to the front door....too afraid to do so but rumour is that it is no longer upright. Damn dogs
Ken Gargett Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 » I shared a cab home with Ken.........at 2am » » Not at my finest today. Still at home in my boxers. » » Lise....tell me I won the final poker pot....and don't ever let me gamble » again a few things to clarify. yes we did share a cab at 2pm but to my recollection, rob was not in his boxers (god, i hope not). some of us are bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning (lord knows how or why - waiting for the hammer to drop). i think it might be that if one does lunch first, one is prepared. yes, rob, you did win the last pot (why did you think you paid for the cab tho i did offer some leftover kiwi dollars). BUT you didn't win the biggie for the humidor earlier in the night (congrats phil). if you recall, you folded a pair of fives and then watched two more dealt and promptly collapsed next hand. rob is currently at home photoshopping again. and lisa, when we noted the slightly messy courtyard (and you don't want to klnow what went on there late at night) and offered to help clean, rob said forget it, lisa will do it in the morning.
Ken Gargett Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 one priceless moment. we had a dealer from the local casino to run the cards and when phil was handed his $2,500 humidor as first prize, he asked me what a humidor was. told him to keep cigars in. he looked puzzled. 'a box'. looked more puzzled. 'a wooden box'. so basically all this excitment over a wooden box that someone says is worth $2500? thinks we are mad. and only a little truth to the rumour rob was seen earlier in the day with a hammer, some nails and a few old bits of wood.
El Presidente Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 » and lisa, when we noted the slightly messy courtyard (and you don't want » to klnow what went on there late at night) and offered to help clean, rob » said forget it, lisa will do it in the morning. LIES Lise....LIES! Don't touch a thing honey. I will take care of the mess when I get in.....eventually....or....you can tell minismithy to clean up in case you see him before I do. Ken...thank you for reminding me I threw out a pair of 5's on the final table....only to see a pair of 5's on the flop. Next hand I went all in on an Ace King. Phil the eventual winner....knocked me out.....with a pair of 5's. God has a dark sense of humour
Colt45 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 » God has a dark sense of humour Perhaps it is not the shadow of god which casts a pall over you? P.S. Have some scrambled eggs and sashimi for breakfast - it'll fix you right up.
First Lady Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Honey there is a chance in hell I am cleaning the courtyard :-D I set you take apart....... The flies than you for leaving the cheese out for them last night...... Shagger didn't go looking for girls again did he ?????????? Rob want me to set the room ready with a sleeping bag again :-D
El Presidente Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 » Rob want me to set the room ready with a sleeping bag again :-D Don't be daft. Just tuck me in on the couch as usual. I have Yasmal with me today so lets pretend I am professional and lord of the manor ;-)

greenpimp Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 What is that old joke, rather have two 5's than one 10? Looks like you woke up with 5's there Rob. LOL. Can't wait for unadulterated pics. :-D
