Pulled one out from a Feb 02 batch last night..Great when young but put a few years on them and incredibly flavourful with a long tasty finish. One should always have at least three cab's at all times!

Nice, thanks for the review. I just bought a box of these from Rob, dated Feb 07, have yet to try one. Just letting them sit. Hope they are as good as yours.

Hey Toasterhead, where exactly are you in Denver. I have a trip planned out to Crested Butte leaving here on Dec. 8. We will be hooking up with a friend who moved out your way about 6 months ago, he lives in Broomfield, I believe. We actually plan on hanging out w/him on that Saturday and heading to the mountains Sunday morning. However, we are currently debating as to whether or not we are still going due to the limited amount of snowfall that Colorado has received. If we do head out perhaps we could get together for a smoke and some drinks if possible?

Hey jwm8592, that would be great; I live near downtown and City Park and there are a few good indoor smoking possibilities for this time of year. Alas, it is not in my house. It snowed last night with more on the way this weekend.

Great review! I've never had a PLPC but I've only been reading great things about them of late. Seems like they are consistently excellent, year in and year out. Anybody have any "off" experiences with these? Are the current available batches up to par?

Thanks! I am still enjoying this batch and OEB Mar 07 awaits in the locker. A cab is a little pricey but worth every penny.

Not precisely an "off" experience, but my ABR 06 are sick right now, completely unsmokable. If you buy a few 07s to smoke right away, I dont see any issues.

» I am one lucky guy. Last week I got to stay at Wynn Las Vegas and I took

» The setting: A beautiful balcony/terrace overlooking the waterfall and

» I decided on a Pyramid Hefeweizen beer; I like the tart and refreshing

» cigars taste muddled; this one was clear as a bell.

»

» The middle third had the same flavors along with some dry/tannic quality

»

» The last third was darker chocolate and coffee; I have trouble discerning

»

» Extremely enjoyable cigar!

Nice cigars there Dave.. I LOVE these guys. I just started smoking some out of a cab from Sept 2005, and WOW have they come along nicely since I got them a year and a half ago.
