jdbrown Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Anyone smoke recent examples ie. late 06, 07?? Tried a single Sunday night during Bears/Packers game and thought it was worthy of a bulk purchase!
Mel Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 » Anyone smoke recent examples ie. late 06, 07?? They are a great bargin for the money considering the quality of cigar. I think the #3 is a great winter cigar when you need a lot of flavor in a short smoke.
shrink Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Yep, the '06 PSdC #3 have got a lot of power and complexity. I actually like to smoke 'em young, and enjoy the raw pepper and citrus finish, but if you give 'em a few years, they really shine.

I've smoked a few from an '06 box and am impressed - though the most recent sample seemed to be a bit "closed down" compared to earlier samples from the same box. Buy them, smoke them, love them :-)
Tampa1257 Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 You simply can not go wrong in my opinion with any of the Partagas Serie du Connaisseur cigars, #3, #2, and my personal favorite #1. The #3's have really been changing a lot of peoples opinion on just how much flavor and complexity can be found in thinner cigars. Try them, many people love them, including me.
Claudius Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 » Anyone smoke recent examples ie. late 06, 07?? Tried a single Sunday night » during Bears/Packers game and thought it was worthy of a bulk purchase! Yes, they're fantastic. Buy as many as you can!
Loki Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 I just got a cab of 07s and for freshies they are quite good.
smokum Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Horrible tasteless wortless cigar..Do not buy any..:-D
ksblazer Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 » The #1s and #3s are great cigars IMHO. I've tried the #1's and loved them. Sounds like I really need to give the #3's a try as well.
