JMH Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I can easily say that the best cure I've found is good red wine. A few glasses will soothe your stomach, and give you that nice fuzzy feeling like your brain is wrapped in a warm cloud, and pretty soon you're distracted from anything else thats bothering you. What's yours?
tigger Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I've done enough research on this that I've retired from the game altogether, but for me, the best cure was always preventative...coupla asprin and a big glass of water before turning in.

I use 1 gram paracetamol and 2 vitamin B pills and 3 glasses of water. When I wake up I can tell my body is fukt up, but my head doesnt hurt :-) LOL
jakebarnes Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I always found that the best hangover cure was having the greasiest pizza you can find the night of your drunken escapades right before you go to bed. Next morning: Smart Water and vitamins combined witha secondary nap You can substitute any of the "next morning" stuff with a good bloody mary. Pete

What's a hangover? :-D Fortunately, I can drink about as much as I want and never have to worry about that problem!
Taino Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Before going to bed and/or while drinking and/or before drinking have a lot of water, gatorade or similar. As much as you can drink. Hangover is dehydration.
xibbumbero Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 For me, Menudo w/a Negra Modelo but hey, I'm Mexican. X:-D

Best cure is not to get one in the first place. I usually have a glass of water with every 2 drinks or so. I can't remeber the last time I had a hangover. It was advice I was given by an older brother before I went off to college, and it was probably the only reason why I showed up for my morning classes ~S
El Presidente Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Lap Dance. When you do wake up you spend so much time covering your tracks that you forget all about the hangover ;-)
TexaSmoke Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Just don't quit drinking, or have someone put an IV in you when you fall asleep.
Spartagas Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 » For me, Menudo w/a Negra Modelo but hey, I'm Mexican! I've never heard of a boy band described as a hangover cure, but hey....
GoSteelers Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Plop Plop Fizz Fizz Oh What A Relief It Is! Alka Seltzer - on the rocks Baby! Follow up with a Bloddy Mary
JMH Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Oh, and I forgot, a blue powerade before you go to sleep.

anacostiakat Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Don't go to sleep. It has to be the sleep! I feel great before I go to sleep. It is the afterwards that is the problem. ;-)

greenpimp Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Alka Seltzer, an India Pale Ale alcohol, greasy food, sex and sleep. But if you really want to knock it, and you're not gonna like this, you gotta go for a long run. Sweat it out. If it doesn't kill you, you'll feel much better.

PartagasIV Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Steam shower sometimes can do wonders if you're not marathonically-inclined. My usual routine is: a) water pre-bed Emergen-C orange fizzy powder upon waking c) Greasy breakfast and/or Bloodies
lbrooks Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Two step process 1.Night before( water and gatorade) 2.Morning (Revive Vitaman water and Eggs and Bacon) LB
