Tampa1257 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I waited and waited for my Aristocrat Cabinet Humidor to arrive over the Holidays last year. This is what I received: If I order anything else, I am going to have to use Rob's Storage facilities I think! Might have to get the Wine Coolador operational again!
GP012 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Looks damn good, temperature controlled too? Also, you need to bust out the old Tetris on the gameboy, as you could probably fit a LOT more boxes in there.
Professor Twain Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Chuck, I see that you are really full! Looks like everything is in good order...
Tampa1257 Posted August 14, 2007 Author Posted August 14, 2007 Guess I need to smoke more......... I'll start from the bottom up
Curt Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 » Guess I need to smoke more......... » » I'll start from the bottom up Just send some out to Sonoma with Bill this weekend.:-D

shrink Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 The answer, of course, is YES! Use this for your smoking humi. Get another bigger one for storage.
gyosa Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Nah , You can squeeze another box or two in there ... nice ... -bk
tigger Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 It's a sickness, this is. I, for one, am grateful for the OHS, as it's saving me from having to buy more storage.
Mr.T Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Wow.... is all I can say; a thing of beauty. That is very, very impressive. I have a smaller Aristocrat and it is just about full, but not yet :-)
Tom Bolivar Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 » If I order anything else, I am going to have to use Rob's Storage » facilities I think! Tampa, you saw that coming, didn't you. Nice Humidor and nice collection!
broozer Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 a man can NEVER have too many cigars and too many humidors. bruce
Professor Twain Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 » Guess I need to smoke more......... » » I'll start from the bottom up Tampa is graciously providing me with storage on his bottom shelf--I try to shove an occasional cigar in his mouth so that he will leave them be.
jwm8592 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Hey Tampa1257, Very nice indeed!!:-D Can you tell me of the cuban boxed cigars, which would you say is your favorite, and why, flavor profile, etc.? I obviously can see the brand names on the boxes but can't make out the individual cigar in the boxes. cheers
TexaSmoke Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 That is one damn nice humidor. I like the temp controled part too. Do you have any issues with the TE unit condensating?
wp2 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Chuck, I will graciously take one for the team here. As your Aristocrat is full, send any new orders to me & I'll store them for you! Of course, I will need to sample them from time to time just to make sure they are OK.
Tampa1257 Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 » Hey Tampa1257, » Very nice indeed!!:-D Can you tell me of the cuban boxed cigars, which » would you say is your favorite, and why, flavor profile, etc.? I have favorites in each different size cigar. So to answer your question is difficult for me as there is no one single cigar that I can say is my absolute favorite. To understand the assorted flavors and complexities that many people identify and describe in different cigars can be found by doing a search right here on the forum, in the Cigar Review Forum. Spend an afternoon reading just the cigar reviews and you will gain a wealth of information. Just click on the Category for Cigar Reviews and enjoy reading. I prefer stronger more in your face slap me silly with yo bad azz self type cigars. I typically enjoy thinner ring gauge cigars and I am sure you can find my thought posted around here. I am fond of Partagas Serie du Connaisseur, Lonsdale's, PSD4's, RASS, Famosos, Siglo I,II,III, IV's, Montecristo Especiales, Bolivar PC, Por Larrañaga, Quai D'Orsay as an example.
Gryphon Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Know Ive told you before. But that is a beautiful Humi...
Freefallguy Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Nice cache Chuck! Culebras, CULEBRAS!? Are they vintage or new?
Tampa1257 Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 » Nice cache Chuck! » » Culebras, CULEBRAS!? » Are they vintage or new? Oh so you spotted something? Yes I have both Old and New Culebras.
KB24 Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Everything looks great Chuck. I have gotten approval from the wife to order an Aristocrat Plus, but I am having a hard time pulling the trigger. My wine cooler is full and can't hold another single cigar. The thing is I am moving into a bigger apartment and am deciding do I order the humidor or begin purchasing other furniture pieces for the future. Probably will just sack up and do it in the next week. It's not like I will be taking a 3K hit right away. Its 50% upfront and then the other 50% 2 months later upon delivery right? Anyways, have a great weekend. p.s. I need more room now that I got the opportunity to taste the RyJ Churchill and the LBC Tainos in Cabo and want to order a box of each. This is all your fault Chuck you know that right?
