El Presidente Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I had an e-mail from a very good roller at the Partagas Factory. All he has been rolling for the past month has been Cohiba Maduro. He has smoked more than he can count and states that they are sensational. Medium bodied but laden with what he describes as Cuban earth and honey. Looking forward to these :-)
broozer Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 any idea on the prices yet? the smallest one looks appealing to me. bruce

motownflip Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 His review means they should be great even young. Which is good, because I have a hard time aging anything.

The online cigar locker is good for aging, I'm the same I can't just look at them every day, however you tend to forget about them in the locker.;-)
Ethernut Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Yeaass well, daddy will prolly haveta pick up a few of these!
servebig Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I've seen them in Hong Kong for $500 a box (20 per box)
greenpimp Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I am actually pretty excited about these; hope the price isn't too crazy so I can pick up a few boxes.

No.
servebig Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 » I think they are 10 ct and 25 ct boxes only.. hmmmmmmm...maybe the vendor in question is bundling them himself? There are always a couple of guys who seem to get stuff early and charge prices to those who want to be the first on the block.
Miami101 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Can't wate.... I feel so behind on my Cigar orders.......work is killing me.
Quint Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I'm really looking forward to these as well and share the sentiment of reasonable pricing.
Mel Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 » I'm really looking forward to these as well and share the sentiment of » reasonable pricing. Reasonable Pricing??? That will be open to interpretation. I bet they sell out in a hurry even with sky high pricing.:-(
GTS21 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Really looking forward to these. I smoked one a while back, and it was AMAZING.
Well Armed Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Mel you KNOW you are going to get 2 boxes of each!
Mel Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 » Mel you KNOW you are going to get 2 boxes of each! Hush that crap Rob already screws the **** outta me.;-) That's like telling a drug dealer that you are hard addicted then asking the price of the rock.:-|
justinphilly Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 i got mine!! all i gotta say is, "GOD DAM THESE LOOK GOOD!!!"
bgoodz Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Great Googley Woogley, where's the sign up sheet :-) That's enough to bring me out of the woodwork. :-D
12stones Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 I'm curious to see what others think of these. I had a Genios last week and it was good, not great but good. I think the maduro might be a little too much and might affect the tastes and complexity of the cigars. I'd love to revisit these in 5 years to see what the results are.
JeepCop Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 If the price point isn't too outlandish, I'll have to try some of these. I LOVE them maddies!
El Presidente Posted June 13, 2007 Author Posted June 13, 2007 Will be here first weeks of July. Pricing should be finalised next week.
