El Presidente Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 On behalf of Lisa, Smithy, Minismitty (Simon),Diana, and I a heartfelt Happy Easter to all our FOH members! It is very much a religious time here in Australia and also a time when families get together....pack their camping gear and head out to the bush or the beach for a little bit of family camping time in Gods great outdoor gift. It is a reminder to us all of how lucky we are and the many things we need to be thankfull for. I have an added suprise this year in Rob Schildt (Freefallguy) arriving this afternoon and spending a few days with me. Will post a few pics next week. So....regardless of your religious beliefs...from all of us we wish you peace, friendship and laughter. God bless

This forum certainly brings plenty of the laughter aspect into my life. While I don't post much, I probably hit the forum about 15-20 times a day, just for a good laugh...or to salivate over someone else's stuff... God bless, and thanks again for FOH FORUM!:-D

I was just thinking about what wine to have with Eater dinner, and had pretty much decided on a 1996 Reserve de la Comtesse. This then made me lament the fact that I had opportunity, a couple of years ago, to acquire a case of 1996 Pichon Lalande, and only took a few bottles. Oh well, Happy Easter everbody - one love!
smokum Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Just walked in from the garage after enjoying a RJ Tres Petit Corona before we bolt the kids down for bed. While I share in your Easter wishes and blessings Rob...it's 32 degrees here and somehow the thought of heading out into the bush with camping gear sounds just a tad more appealing than my celebration this year. However, after I am done feeding the extended family a nice Greek style leg of baby lamb or 3...I will once again retire to my comfy heated garage and enjoy my bounty of Australian Habanos with one lucky bro-in-law and think of you poor guys out there sweating it up around a campfire. But somehow...I don't see you "roughing it"...instead you probably have a new off road vehicle pulling a trailer laden with all the finest china,silverware, beverages and cigars ...and the best mosquito repellant that a box of Guantanameras can trade for !!!! Joyous Holiday to all. No doubt Lisa and Smithy will be dressed elegantly and enjoying a more formal Holiday.

Are they significant "others" of the FOH Crew or are they new members to the Staff? Anyway, Happy Holidays to everyone this coming weekend. Like some have mentioned here in this thread, back east we will be experiencing a bit of brisk weather this coming Sunday. Nevertheless, I look forward to a relaxing and fun filled day with family and friends and hopefully I will be able to get in a cigar or two. Again, Happy Holidays to all.

To get into the spirit of sacrificing, I placed myself on an alcohol ban (stupid I know!) but now my liver is 100% ready to accept any and all alcohol I offer it! and yes it's true you don't know what you've got till it's gone! take care peoples! be safe if you are travelling!

Simon is my 18 year old Nephew...he is tall, thin and a physics student at University....he is Smithy 12 years ago and hence his nickname...minismitty Both are part of the team these days. To be honest...I either had to hire more people...or do some work :-D

I'll be spending mine with The Girlfriend at my parent's spring/summer place. I can say with (almost) utter certainty, it is my most favorite spot in the world.
