Does this THC pull Rh out of the box while it is in the cool mode when needed ? Where does the drain hose go...it looks like the cool coil must freeze up and then defrost or something. Where is the distilled water reservoir ? I am going to look into one of these . Pricey but hi-tech as hell.

Yes, there is a drain tube, it goes into the distilled water/humidification unit at the bottom shelf. No it does not pull RH out of the box, only puts out. It's not a regular refig unit, so it doesn't freeze and defrost. It's a peltier unit, does not remove humidity like a typical frig does. it's an awesome unit!

smokum Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 You guys are killing me here. These are really nice units... I'm getting tired of constantly watching Rh and temp. I sent a note to Aritocrat last night to check price and availability on a nice end table THC unit. 30-40 boxes is the max I would store so that should be enough space for me. I also asked if they sold the THC sytem seperate...maybe I can retrofit the old box.

I have had transporters drop off some pretty expensive 1500 dollar muscle cars.:-D . As long as buy it out of my own play money !
