OK, besides the issue that the Bolivar Corona Juniors were packed in a Partagás Short box, as well as the upside down unbanded cigar, what surprises me even more is the difference in wrapper shade from left to right and the variances in ring gauge of the cigars. Some are much thicker than others.

I don't think you can judge evenness of wrapper shade from the photo. A flash was used. You can see the light didn't diffuse evenly due to the camera being close to the subject. There is a hot spot from the flash on the box's lid. And under that hot spot more light hit the cigars there than off to the sides, especially the left side, making the center and center-right cigars and bands appear lighter in shade/color.

I guess I will be the MAN to step up here... Rob, If you feel that there is a problem I will gladly smoke a few and give them my honest review. After all... quality IS my middle name. It is, in my humble opinion, the least that I could do for you. I accept the challange.

No need for thanks.

Really.

Same here. Thats a rather awkward situation. Just goes to show you the kind and necessity of the service we are getting. Thanks for checking ech and every box. :-D

» Wow. Hmm. Ack. Good thing you individually check each box :-)

I've often wondered - if you guys individually check each box, what happens to the ones that don't make the grade? PCC and Habanos S.A. don't strike me as the kind of companies that would have particularly generous returns policies.

You obviously don't know how to decipher the message Rob. Turn the box around and you will plainly see that one of your friends at PCC is giving you the finger!

 ....yeah....that will teach me for helping an exec out by arranging a blind date with Cuba's only transvestite singer ;-)

Those that do not make the grade end up in strip clubs and Casino's. The only thing we send back to PCC are those cigars damaged in shipping.

Every box these days is near perfect. Habanos s.a has moved heaven and earth to preach and establish a culture of perfection within factories. The below box of Partagas Shorts is a case in point. So close to perfection that only minute variances can be picked from cigar to cigar. This box code is DIC 05 and represents a culmination of 5 years of Total Quality Control toil.

I tip my Hat to those dedicated brave men and women of Habanos s.a :ok:
